I have evolved. I'm even cheaper in 2025 than I was in 2021. Replacement level players don't deserve much above the minimum. Today I could still be talked into $5 million for a player of Nunn's caliber (at the time), but closer to $10 million? No. Never mind the cap rising.
Eventually I'll insist on signing players with Walmart cash.

It just shows you 1) how easily players can end up out of the league and 2) how rich in talent the NBA is.
On one hand you had guys like Westbrook, Gary Trent Jr and Alec Burks playing for the minimum; on the other you had guys like KCP (~$21M), Bradley Beal (~$50M), and PJ Tucker (~$11M) making a killing.
