Would be a luxury to have 2 contenders, and both still young guys who are building.

Bully ball. We little bro’d them pretty rough out there. Had them from the jump.

THAT is Heat basketball. None of this nonsense of small ball anymore. You know the best way to not get hurt? Be bigger than your opponent.

Size and space, without Herro even, hopefully it's not a fluke (probably a fluke though)

I've never seen us destroy a team on the glass like this.

Wow looks like I missed quite the game! I had to watch the Blue Jays play their first world series game in 32 years. They had a blowout win as well so it was worth it. What a night! I'm glad to see Spo actually came to his senses and started Ware after costing us the first game with his stupidity.

I think Spo was sending a message to Ware with the non-start game 1. He wants Ware to work harder, even said it publicly. Crystal clear expectations. Spo needs Ware, but not a low effort one. Being an NBA coach requires knowledge of psychology more than most jobs. Good to see Spo really figuring out how to look past the numbers and motivate his players.

So, I don't know about you all, but I'm pre-ordering my Finals tickets....

Awesome to see Miami get a W without needing some heroic performance from anyone. And 146 points!!! With only 2 guys getting 20 or more (Jovic 20 and Bam 24).

I know it's only 2 games in, but Jaquez's preseason has carried over to the regular season, which is making me think my call of him losing out minutes to Larsson is going to look very bad (that said, I also said Fontecchio would earn a big spot in the rotation and that looks to be happening).

Teams will eventually adjust to our new style of play and know better what to expect from us coming in and game plan for it. It will be interesting to see how we adjust and if we can still enforce our will.

A win's a win, but what I really liked about this one was all the guys we need to see develop and get value out of (Jaime, Niko, Ware) performed. Can't ask for more than that. My only worry would be if they all play just well enough for our front office to fall in love with them, but all have ceilings low enough that it won't matter in the long run to building a contender.

That said I think Ware and Niko have ceilings a little higher than that, and Jaime, well even if he doesn't I'm just happy for him if he can find his mojo and get back to what he was doing his rookie year. Also nice to see Davion at least so far show he was worth hit and is possibly aiming higher himself, he's a beast.

It's crazy to see JJJ not being able to beat anyone off the dribble for one and half seasons and getting to the rim at will now for the first two games, he might just be a guy who needs the balla lot to be effective e.g like a Andre Miller type of player

He likes to get a head of steam if he can. Hes hard to guard because if you send a defender to help, someone better than him is getting the ball.
