I agree. Wade would of been a superstar no matter what, but Shaq did wonders for Wade's confidence on and off the court and all the attention he got. Shaq made Miami legitimate, while giving and reinforcing the spotlight upon Wade. Shaq always made sure to give props and attention to Wade saying stuff like "He's the best I've played with" after games and such.
I think Shaq will do the same for Amare.

Shaq helped Wade attract attention an be a household name, and without Shaq, Wade wouldn't have as many side deals off the court, but Wade would be a real good player without Shaq, he might actually be a better player know, something I read about Wade, he really hated being under the radar and LeBron and Melo getting all the pub and was motivated, and played with extreme anger, he probably has lost some of this edge.
Shaq did bring excitement to the common fan, he is great business man, I got to give him that.
