A class act is retiring after this season

Post#1 » by Lane1974 » Sat Apr 12, 2008 3:32 am

after 37 years in the NBA, and only missing 2 games (in our 2006 season when his wife was dying of cancer I believe), Ron Culp is stepping down. He's the only trainer the Heat have ever known.

I REALLY, sincerely hope Shaq's treatment of the medical staff didn't burn him out.

Fokk Lane, when i saw the topic title, i thought oh, damn, Riley is done! I thought so when i saw "It finally happened" topic. It's creepier than Lost.

Good bye Ron!

I thought this was about Zo.

But, either way, Culp's definitely been a class act.

Wow! What can I say.

I wish Shaq didn't say those comments about the Heat medical staff.

Can we consider this a "Appreciation Thread"?

Sad day for the Heat to be losing such a great trainer. Wish Mr. Culp the best :)

Very nice Ceremony. The heat are the best. The guy was in tears. Good luck Ron Culp in whatever you do, Your story will be one told for ages. "The Ron Culp medical room"

Question? Are we the only team in the nba to put the trainer in the rafters?
