The 2 AmEgos

Post#1 » by mjd58 » Fri May 27, 2011 1:33 am

I see one major problem with the Heat. Although for the most part, especially lately in the playoffs we have seen them play very well, but one thing i see as a major detriment to the success of this team is the egotism of Wade and Lebron.

Now...Bosh has an ego like all human beings... but his isnt big in the least bit. He almost has to be compelled to admit that he has to demand the ball. Hes not a big talker, and he isnt too comfortable doing that (from what ive gathered from his raptor days)...But nonetheless, this guy excels in the iso. He has a deadly quick first step, a killer jumper, and a capable post game....

This team would do MUCH better in my opinion if they worked their half court offense more through bosh and less of this crazy shooting by wade and Lebron. It would also open the floor, force double teams...But all of this supposes one thing; that Lebron and wade have to take a back seat to Bosh.

Now, obviously talentwise, Lebron and Wade are much more explosive scorers. My point isnt that bosh is better; my point is Bosh can open the offense up.

Maybe this is what Spoelstra wants? but can Lebron and D-wade - the two guys who try not to be egotistical but simply cant help it, sacrifice stats for wins? Or will Bosh be the one to have to do that? These are big questions...

I think the Heat would be stronger, and indeed Boshs 34 game performance showed how the Heat can control the game much better when the run the offence through him...

it is true! while i dont think they both need to take a backseat, but i feel like when miami is at its best is when bosh is the second option... one of them need not take the backseat to him... check the numbers the number 1 offence in the league last year (could be just the eastern conference) was a chris bosh lead toronto squad
CB4 IS THE BEST PF IN THE GAME
