LOL

He's not a FRAGILE player. He's in fact a very tough player who throws himself into situations which are quite dangerous. If he was Fragile he wouldn't even have lasted this long.

Oden might be classed as fragile, Yao might be classed as fragile but not Wade.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

i think those guys, who cant even step on the court are far beyond fragil..their body's are broken

theres alot of guys who end up in the stands and play with alot of contact.

i mean people are built differently. wades body is just not, at least by most indications, very durable. he had to be wrapped in a blanket and wheeled off the court after a shoulder dislocation. lets call it like it is..

takes nothing away from his achievements or skills

It's pretty dumb to call a 6'4 guard with his playing style fragile. There's barely a player in the league who attacks as much and as relentless as he does, not even LeBron did in his first year in Miami.

omg, frah-gee-lay, must be italian. No, Wade's not italian

fragile - when Wade goes, it's going to be a freak accident - I guess by your fragile definition, Larry Bird was fragile because his back cut his career short

Except it really isn't. If it were, he'd miss games all the time with the way he plays. Instead he's averaged 86 games played a year the last 3 seasons including playoffs, with a Finals still left to play this year.

The guy's been a beast the past few years in regards to his health. Obviously he's not built as indestructible as LeBron, but he's not some Kevin Martin or Shaun Livingston either.

Now one thing I will say is Wade is a bit of a showman, kinda like Pierce, where they'll play up being hurt more than they actually are hurt.

I believe it was LeBron who said Dwyane had mastered to fall down and lay on the ground for a while to recover and make everybody believe he's hurt. He claimed how in the beginning he never knew whether Dwyane was really hurt or whether he was just resting again and then said he wanted to "master" it as well.

mabe i just define fragile differently but thats kind of my point. hes almost always able to go..hense not being a greg oden...

but hes also always, nursing or pretending to nurse something.

i mean i would call paul peirce fragile as well.

Wade isn't fragile, you obviously don't know the definition of the term.

Wade didn't play well against Chicago because he has never played good against Chicago...

laughing at everybody thinking he's injury/tired/old he will play good against Dallas.

This morning I listen to 560 and they had Windy come onto the show to talk about game 1. One of the questions that was asked of him was what was up with Wade.

Paraphrasing

"There are some players that hit a wall during their career and they are never the same physically, and then there are other players that hit a wall during the season and just can't give 100% anymore. It's looks like Wade is the latter, he jump shot has no lift during the first three quarters. He's not able to go 40 minutes on both ends, he'll give you 15 - 20 minutes but that's about it"

....

I think he hit it right on the spot. I think the Boston and Chicago series were emotionally draining for Wade. Add the emotional burden and the additional of the additional games and Wade is at that point. It's amazing that he still puts up the stats that he did last night when clearly he's not himself.
