Do we still have Eddie House?

Whenever I see stuff about Chalmers, it always says Cole is our only other PG. Did we get rid of House? Or is he still on the team?

May need his shooting this year if we amnesty Mike or lose Chalmers.

The Heat have reached an agreement with 32-year-old guard Eddie House on a two-year contract for $2.8 million, his agent, Mark Bartelstein, told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday. The second year of the deal is a player option for $1.4 million.

I believe he'll be on the team this year. We'll definitely need his shooting, as you said Miller and/or Chalmers could potentially be gone. Not to mention James Jones could potentially go elsewhere.

JJ practising at the Heat facilities with UD was interesting. Wonder when he'll make his decision. The best we can offer him is the vet minimum I guess and I'm sure there will be other teams who can offer more. So not really expecting him to be back .. but hope he doesn't go to one of the other contenders and comes back to haunt us.

I think he's decent for the minimum. Can play a bit of the 1 and gets really hot.

I remember he scored like 35 points in the last game of the season where he played a lot. :lol:

I was at that game and he and Juwan Howard were tearing up the raptors. Eddie House was amazing in that game. The guy can sure get hot and isnt afraid to take a big shot. Im all for keeping him on this team for the minimum

Keeping House isn't so bad in that you know he's not gonna steal a lot of minutes from Cole. House should still be doing mop-up duty, assuming Cole doesn't suck. He's also cheap, which makes things easy for payroll too. I'd just prefer a better actual PG play that vet role. PEACE.
