WE DO NEED HIS BALL HANDLING AND REBOUNDING. We need a scorer to come off the bench. Mike Miller is not just a spot up shooter but a very good scorer. Battier is not a scorer, just a spot up shooter. Get Well Mike, now that we have Battier to make of some of Mike lost, he can take his time and heal fully.

We don't need a scorer. We have too many scorers as it is. Spoelstra is too dumb to even make Wade/LBJ/Bosh into an impressive scoring machine as it is.

What we need is someone who is a spot up shooter and can make the open shots, and someone who can play defense very well, AND WHO IS NOT INJURED EVERY OTHER MONTH!

WE DO NEED A SCORER OFF THE BENCH. We had plenty of spot stand still spot up shooting guys, and we have plenty of swing position defending. If we do not need a scorer off the bench please tell people stop asking for Crawford.

The difference is Crawford is actually a good scorer, better than Miller has ever been. Miller hasn't been a "very good scorer" in at least 3 YEARS. He's been below average and afraid to shoot even when he's open.

We were a much better offense without Miller last year. We were also a much better defense without Miller last year.

I think you are overestimating what Miller can do and what he did for this team last year.

Odds are high that Miller gets hurt again this year. Even if he doesn't when he played, we did much worse on offense and defense.

The only thing he helps us with is rebounding but its not like he's Rodman out there to where you can overlook his major weaknesses.

I don't know how much you can fault him for getting injured (style of play etc) so I'd say there's no harm in giving him another shot, unless his cap space keeps us from signing someone. If Miller doesn't improve he will not see next season for damn sure.

Mike Miller doesn't fit what this team lacks. This team needs a legit starting Center that can protect the paint and prevent opposing teams from getting second chance points opportunities. Miami will still have the same major weakness as last season at being inconsistent at securing rebounds when it matters the most at clutch situations. Mike Miller is a great guy, but this is business, and he doesn't bring enough to the table of what the Heat needs.

How come Miami is so unlucky of getting a legit starting Center since the old days of Shaq and Zo?

Its not about luck, there just aren't very many good centers.

I'd say the Dolphins and their quarterback issue are a lot worse.

The Dolphins had 2 chances to get a franchise QB Drew Brees/Ryan - but passed

Mike's great, he will heal and contribute. Shane and James Jones can play as well so we are good on the perimeter.

Mike Miller sucks and should be cut. I said this all of last year and was told by certain posters that I was wrong. He does not shoot enough and is way too passive. He is a good all around player but the Heat don't need Miller to be a a Swiss army knife. They need him to shoot threes.

Matt Moore has actually looked decent recently.
