Noris Cole Fantasy Value

Post#1 » by Faboloso403 » Wed Dec 14, 2011 8:08 pm

I drafted him with a massive potential pick because unlike my peers I see him as a starter for this team by the end of the season, for a couple major reasons.

1. This team is at its best at a fast pace, meaning he will fit perfect pushing the tempo with lebron wade and bosh.
2. Penetration penetration penetration: penetraton kills we can ask the Lakers about that with Barea cutting them up in the play offs. With the additions of Battier to sit in the corner this becomes even more important for spacing
3. Nice to have someone else capable of bring up the ball so Bron and Wade don’t always have to. I like Chalmers but I just don’t think he has the ball handling to truly become a very good pg

In terms of rookies do you think he will be ahead of his peers by season end? My league is a dynasty keeper league so I'm talking long term value (potential to be an all star)
How would you rank him vs his peers in terms of what he can get accomplished this year?

- Kemba Walker
- Brandon Knight
- Kyrie Irving
- Jimmer Fredette

By the end of the year I think he'll be good. But you're crazy if you think he's going to be getting enough minutes for the first half of the year to justify picking him in your fantasy league. He's going to get a lot of DNP-CDs early on I think. Just because I think we're going to run a lot of lineups with Lebron or Wade at point, so we can play Battier at the same time with Bosh and Haslem.

Our best lineup is probably going to be this:
Lebron
Wade
Battier
Bosh
Haslem

And I think teams will find it impossible to play their point guard against this group, because if Lebron actually did improve his post game, there's no guy here that won't destroy a point guard in the post.

Might be someone to grab with a late pick in case he steals the starting position early. He will be very productive if he gets to start. He should be productive regardless. PEACE.

yeah no kidding. He looked amazing out there tonight. His team actually beat the big three team in the first quarter.

Fantasy wise I'd rank him below all four of those guys you named.

He'll get less minutes than all of them and at best will be a fourth option. And there is a chance he might not even make the rotation.
