He's been the worst player out of the big 3 this season so far, due to injuries. So he's been given a lot of leeway. There are a few knuckleheads here and there. But the most bashed player on this team is still Lebron James, and he's been the best statistical player in the league by far this year.

He gets criticized like any other player on the Heat but I wouldn't say "bashed" he gets "bashed" by non heat fans on GB and other places.

Also, you can tell who the fickle Heat fans are, Wade for whatever reason is never superb or great in the first months of the season and after all star break passes he goes on a tear and finishes up averaging something like 30 on 50% shooting for the 2nd half of the season, if he's healthy and with the faster pace then I can't see why he won't turn it up again and get ready for the playoffs.

prolly bron fans. longtime Heat fans will never doubt Mr. Wade. Ever. 8-)

Bingo.

Also LeBron is one of my least favorite players on this team lol.

Not ok for "LeBron fans" to dump on Wade, but "Wade fans" can make condescending comments like the above about LeBron..guess it makes you more of a "true fan". Alot of you all need to get a grip, root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back.

I was flabbergasted when C Webb (I think) claimed the Heat had a poor bench - wtf?

You can just tell when somebody doesn't watch this team and only when they are on national TV.

This Heat bench when healthy is amazing, offensively anyway. It just needs a good back up C.

And consistency.

If Miller stays healthy, BEAST bench.

Please get the Heat a C, Riley. Every time the ball was passed to Jo-El, I cringed - he should be called Knuckles, but I still love him.

Watching the Lebron video, it amazes me how low-effort his scoring is. He's dribbling almost cautiously.

I think what a lot of people are noticing is how well this team has been playing w/o Wade and especially how well Bron and how confident Bron has been when Wade has been out of the lineup. The real problem is Wade has been hurt and playing at a very low quality which never accomplishes anything other than hurting your team.

I am sure you guys can remember back to the first few games when wade started on an absolute tear. The Celtic game he had an all time 2nd quarter where he had 2 or 3 amazing blocks and few great offensive plays as well. I remember everyone talking about him leading the league in Block shots at the time.

We are all prisoners of the moment b/c that's how society works. It is always what have you done for me lately and as soon as Wade has a few good games everyone will want to trade Lebron. Fortunately Riley is in charge of personnel.

sal, those aren't Heat fans. Everybody knows Wade has been hurt and he always takes his time to get it going. Just remember how many bad games he had at the beginning of last season.

I just watched the game on my LP. It was a good win for us. Our first half was pretty pathetic, then we heated up and played better defense. It feels good to finally win a game from beyond the arc, even though I don't expect nights like these happen too often, which is why I enjoyed every triple. LeBron played well, so did Bosh and I'm glad to see Miller with a great comeback game, as it should boost his confidence. I'll admit I cringed a couple of times when he flew into the paint for a rebound because I know how fragile he is, but it's his style of play, you won't change him and just have to hope he won't hurt himself any further.

Yeah me neither, I'm actually happy to see the team play so well without him so that he can rest as long as possible.

My fear is, these guys obviously let the media get to them from time to time. I hope Wade's chemistry with the team is not affected by the latest "Heat are better without Wade" fad. What we don't want is an injured Wade rushing back and asserting himself prematurely to "prove the haters wrong". That's really the impression I got from him storming out of the gates vs Golden State.

Luckily, this team seems much more mentally stable than last year.
The views and opinions expressed herein are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Miami Heat fans, the Miami Heat Organization, or it's employees.

The regular season isn't going to destroy anything. Wade needs to sit for as long as he feels is necessary in order to get healthy by playoff time.

Do you really believe, after all the scrutiny we faced last season, these guys will let the media tools affect them?

I don't even think the media would come up with that topic simply because they're still on that LeBron can't close fad(even though we saw him destroy Spurs to seal the game),however everyone knows LeBron is dominant enough to carry scrubs to victory, and this team minus Wade is still a top 3-4 team with Bosh being far and away the best 2nd option LeBron ever had.

From what I've seen it's mostly LeBron homers who bring up the topic of Heat are better w/o Wade or trade Wade posts anyway.
