Nobody on the roster for you guys has the overall length and experience Rasheed would bring - plus the ability to stretch the floor and hit big shots. Also will make good passes, and could still score at times in the post. That video shows why he'd still be valuable.

If he's in shape, get him

It's not like we're talking about Ilgauskas or Dampier here. He has solid athleticism for a C, good size, is smart, a terrific post defender, good defensively on PnR's, and offers the offensive versatility none of the Heat's C's have. He has the size and offensive skill Joel lacks, and the experience and polished game Pittman lacks. If he is in his Celtic form, he is a much better player than a guy like Fesenko is.

There is no reason to not sign him to the vet minimum if he is in similar shape to what he was in with the Celtics.

I really think if he's healthy, why the hell not? He can IMO 100% offer more than Juwan. I know the players want to get Juwan a ring, but come on, the guy never plays. Maybe drop Gladness? I know this is all speculation, but I do think that IF he can bring something to the team (and RIley should be able to tell right away) why not just give it a shot.

Did anybody else see him that year with the C's? All he did was shoot the 3.

He has no moves.

He has no more skills he uses besides the 3 point shot.

I think he brings more to the table than Juwan. But it seems like these players are determined to win him a ring, and Sheed already has one. I don't see it happening, but I don't think Riley wouldn't take a look since our size down low is "great".

no. those highlights were of him 3 years ago. hes older, has no offensive game besides the 3 and would probably break down playing in our fast paced offense and smothering defense.

we have pittman and curry as bodies down low, thats who well have to live with

See Game 7 against the Lakers? He was murdering them in the post to start the game.

And yes, the 3pt shot is his primary offensive skill, but why is that such a bad thing for a Heat team that has no floor spacing from any of its centers?
