LMAO this. I think the correct thing to say would have been, "Lebron and Wade actually stick to the offensive gameplan? That will never happen."
That's what happens when you have two prima donna superstar wings on one team that have been used to holding onto the ball for years. One of them hates to be the decoy in a set for the other. Hell, the only play both of them have really enjoyed pulling off together are the bron-wade pnr's, and that's because both of them have a chance at getting some credit.
In all fairness to both of them, Wade really made an effort to defer and actually deferred far too much at the beginning of the season while LeBron simply isn't accustomed to anything but dominating the ball. Additionally, having an offensive gap at center (Joel) and shooters who don't hit shots doesn't help the cause. I also felt like our offensive struggles were overstated due to our inability to close out games. We actually ran a lot of nice and simple stuff and down the stretch, our offense was fine.
The hero ball really started in the last 5-6 minutes of most of the games, when everybody tried to win the game by themselves and that's where I agree with you, there egos came in the way of us winning the game.
