Melo out the 4 actually makes us better...it lets us play the big 3 (Bosh at 5, Lebron at 4, Wade at 1 or 2) with two shooters around them instead of one. The added floor spacing + the reduced resistance in the lane = layup drill & open 3s

That's what I said it is a match up problem for any team not named Miami. If anything we will benefit from this and hopefully Mike Miller and Shane Battier can perform like they have in the past two games.

I love the

D.Wade
Mike Miller
Shane Battier
LeBron James
Chris Bosh

lineup we have speed agility and spacing and if we get mauled on the glass replacing either Shane or Mike with Udonis works perfectly well too. Glad that Spo has got his rotations set for the playoffs and that Mario Chalmers has been very productive.

Miami Heat’s Big 3 thriving on synergy

Miami’s Big 3 proved that it adds up to more than the sum of its parts. As for New York’s Big 3, it simply does not add up.

The difference? Synergy, which is the way a group functioning together creates a result not attainable by any of its individual members.

The constant doubt that Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh could not complement each other on the court is being dispelled in this, their second season together.

Each made a significant contribution on Monday in a 104-94 defeat of the Knicks, who played fractured basketball and fell to 0-2 in the first-round playoff series.

Watching the Knicks play, it should be obvious that even when Miami was at its worst (last year, pre-December), the offense was far more organized and less-ISO heavy than what NY runs. And now its light years better. The idea that we don't have a system is laughable when you see what a team actually looks like when it doesn't have a system.

I usually don't get too caught up in these incidents but thought this article was pretty funny: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303916904577377991346764590.html
