BS, Celtic, Heat D

Post#1 » by bluerain » Sun May 27, 2012 1:34 pm

Many think the Boston beat the heat because of knowing the Heat Defense than why didn't the almighty Doc couldn't adjust to the 76 defense. Tell me he couldn't figure it out to not go to 7 games? IMO the only different about the 76's and the Heat playing Boston are the 76's played Harder than the heat did in the Reg season. They strap and never gave up, so I just don't buy that BS about Boston play better against the Heat D. Boston cared the Heat not so much.

The games they won, they had to just about be damn near perfect to beat the heat, shooting wise. Mental and physically, I don't think they can't do this in a best out 7. Also, the bond between Wade and Bron has grown more than ever, and that's a dangerous growth.

I just love the notion that Boston has struggled so far, yet can find some hidden magic when they face us, the far-better team in their playoff run. Like their old asses wanted to play 13 games so far. They've played a total of 1 good game thus far...1. That was Game4 against ATL. Other than that, they've looked...not very good. PEACE.

Celtics are notorious for playing up or down to their competition

Unless you are the BEST team this is a myth.

Playing down is always possible of course but playing up to the level of a team who is better than you is not.

The celtics are awful now. They were below .500 at the all star break. Whomever is saying the Celtics have a chance is smoking something lethal. The Heat have maybe the easiest road of any NBA team in the last 25 years or so to reach the finals. The East is awful except for the Heat. I think they kinda looked past the Pacers for 2 1/2 games. Heat only have to worry about whoever comes out of the west. They don't have to worry much. Just as long as they don't under estimate the Spurs/Thunder then they'll win 4-1.

a healthy Boston Celtic team can give the Heat major trouble. Ray Allen having bone spurs is huge. Pierce apparently has a sprained knee or something.

Boston's bench was better last year though.

Then again, most of their bench is missing this year too. Tough luck.

Maybe I was personally giving the Celtic's too much respect, but meh, I hope we do Boston a favor and just sweep them. They stand no chance against the Spurs with the way their offense is going.

I'm interested to see how their defense is tonight, they said they want to be more physical (where have I heard that before.... yawn.... ). We were already up against a physical Pacers team and got beat up.

Everytime we got beat up, it just made it worse for the opposing team.

Even healthy, Boston's offense has been awful. Their defense was never good enough to overcome that major flaw. This year's Celtics team is worse than last year's, and we should have swept those bums last season. PEACE.
