On their day, the best two players in the league. If they can win the hardware, will go down as the greatest all-time duo.

Cant beleive this topic is still going on but I'll bite...

Wade has always and probably will always be my favorite player of all time (he put a ring on it)... but Lebron Has been better than wade his entire career. When it comes to basketball and what he physically bring sto the court, He simply brings more than Wade. I've said this before lebron was with miami, and get rediculed for not saying wade was better. But The eye test says Lebron is better and so do the numbers.

Listen carefully folks. I will say this once.

LEBRON JAMES IS THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME.

Accomplishments? Accolades? not at all. But hopefully those will come.

I agree, to me LBJ is greatest of all time too.Unfortunately, I havent watched jordan in 1990's as I was born in 1996..and alot of veterans ridicule me when I say LBJ is greatest of all time..they keep saying jordan not even close.

But as to me, He is best I had seen.Wade is great too, but lebron is sthg else.
I would support the team lebron is on it always.

I thought he was just about as good as LeBron last night. He could have rebounded a little more, and the 4 TOs were too many. But, based on the number of possessions he used, I don't see how you could've asked for more production from him. You have to shoot to score, but a corollary of that is that you're not missing shots you're not taking (in other words, you're not squandering possessions).... But, beyond that this discussion isn't productive.

I used to be apprehensive when James came out ultra-aggressive because it seemed to make it difficult for Wade to locate his rhythm. But, he appears to have gotten better at that this year.

Spo, on the other hand, still screws his rhythm by giving him that mini-second quarter rest. I don't understand the purpose of it. If it's a minutes thing, then why not extend his first rest by a couple minutes. Coming out between the five-and-three minute mark of the 2nd gives him less time to get in the flow initially and virtually negates any production you'll get from him at the end of the quarter because his flow is disrupted, and those possessions aren't likely to go to him.

But, back to James and Wade, I made this point in the series thread, but it probably is better for James to be 1st option simply because Wade adapts better to being either 2nd or 1st option. Against Dallas, when Wade shifted into Finals mode, James seemed confused about where he fit in.

It just sucks for Wade's player standing, both contemporary and historical, but it's nothing new for him not to receive his due. But, I hope it makes fans fully appreciate Wade for everything he's given to-- and sacrificed for-- the franchise.

They used to pretty on par with eachother, however to me there was no doubt LeBron was a small step ahead of him during the FA.

If the game is locked to some extent and the Heat has to definitely play inside, then Wade is the guy to unlock that offense. James is too strong and too big and he cannot do successive snake-like drives as well as Wade and his shooting touch is not as gentle. But, otherwise, James is the guy to do everything else, and has a greater presence to open up the rest.

Who cares. Miami has em both and are going to win multiple chips with em. Wade/Lebron will go down as the best duo in history. Yeah I said it.

As a longtime Miami Heat fan there were times where I clearly liked Wade more than LBJ but there has never been a time when I, or any non biased person, thought Wade was as good or better than LBJ.

I don't think Wade is as good as MIchael Jordan either, in case you want to start another thread.

Lebron gets the edge due to consistency, durability and versatility (which makes the gap bigger when you take his great defense into consideration).

However I always and still continue to think that peak Wade is better than a peak Lebron. Meaning, when they are both at the top of their games, I just think Wade is more dominant than James.

With James, he overwhelms you with barrage of shotmaking and brutish physicality. With Wade its almost like the other players are standing still, and he is moving at a completely different omniscient frequency/speed than the other 9 players on the floor are.

At this stage of his career. Wade reminds me of Megatron  The leader with a mean streak who only transforms when he is needed. However, when he does he is probably the most deadliest weapon in the world
