Rewind to July 2010 - The Heat DON'T sign LeBron James...

Post#1 » by Hollowman » Wed Jun 6, 2012 5:58 pm

As a long time Heat fan, I always wonder how this Heat team would of panned out IF - We had signed Bosh, an built the team around both him and Wade, using that extra cap space on a better center and better role players.

There certainly wouldn't be as many bandwagon fans for a start. I love LBJ as a player but it's obvious he has effected Wade's game.

I think given the above scenario this would be a better overall team if we'd got some better pieces/bench players to surround Bosh and Wade alone.

he has affected Wade's game?

spoken like a true homer

Wade couldn't friggin get out of the first round til LBJ showed up.

Wade last night couldn't even make plays for anyone on the team when it was just him alone out there. Imagine if LBJ (our primary play maker) wasn't even on the team.

What's happening now has nothing to do with LBJ.

In fact, some of it has to do with a guy just thinking turning it on at the end will suffice, when it does (if he's hurt it's a different story).

Wade doesn't even set up Bosh like LeBron does. LeBron and Bosh had dominant games together when Wade was out lol.

Our role players are fine on paper, but they rely too much on LBJ and Wade themselves. Might it have been different if we just had one primary ball handler? Wade is getting doubled like hell. Guess he should pass to Mario instead of LBJ if LBJ never signed lol.

Not signing the best player in the NBA at 25 years old? Really?

Everyone on this team is available.. except Lebron. That includes YOU, Mr.Wade." Loyalty?? HAHAHAHAHA". U got that right!

Wade is a bigger reason for our issues today than LeBron.

LBJ has his fault and there's no doubt about that, however he is clearly the better player at this point in their careers.

This thread will create civil war amongst the Wade and Lebron camps.

When the big 3 came together I asked Heat fans who they would want to trade if the worst case scenario occurred and one of Lebron or Wade had to be traded. The majority said they would rather keep Wade and trade Lebron. Now, if I had to guess, I suspect that the opposite would be true.
