Break up the big 3?

Post#1 » by Billtb » Wed Jun 6, 2012 7:34 pm

I know it's early, but maybe it's time to break up the big 3 if we lose to Boston. I mean, we have 3 players that were stars of their own teams but together they just can't get it done. Wade and Lebron play the same way. Maybe we should trade one and get some quality pieces to put around Bosh and Wade/LBJ. What do you think? Which one do we drop?

One of Wade/Lebron needs to be turned into a center. And I think it has to be Lebron, because if you trade Wade, Lebron will get pouty and leave in FA. But if you trade Lebron, Wade gets over it and goes back to being top dog.

Chris Bosh should have a bigger role.

By "we" you mean Cleveland, right?

If we lose this year, one of them is definitely gone and from what's been going around Lebron is untouchable. I think Wade would probably get traded if we dealt one, mostly because of his age. Don't know if I could agree with dealing the centerpiece of our franchise though. Then, we risk Lebron leaving in FA though and we're back where we started. I don't even want to think about this.

I've never wanted to punch someone in the face so badly. Really hoping to run into him at a game one day. I won't hesitate.

I hope not. If Lebron truly cares about winning a ring then he will "get over it" just as fast. Friendship can stay off the court, this is your job, your legacy on the line. "Playing with your friends" is something to be done in the off season.

But yeah if they lose out to Boston, I just don't see how THIS particular "3" could work. Too many holes with the rest of the roster that need to be filled so all 3 can be up for grabs for all I care but the logical side of me says you KEEP Lebron over anyone else.

Do Lebron for Dwight Howard. If you do that I won't mind if Miami takes home 10 titles.

There's still one more game left before the season is over - let's wait to talk about the off-season in the off-season, or use an existing thread.
