I didnt think Riley would be real interested in Darko, he was motivated when he was in Orlando. But after that he lost it quick. Hell Minny had to force him to stay in the NBA, he wanted to leave the NBA. His personality may not mesh well with the team, and may get isolated. Eddie Curry with a full summer and training camp of to work on his game and less worried about his conditioning could be a spark for us. And Eddie is now familiar with the Heat culture and should be more ready to contribute next year.

I think the Miami Heat organisation need to interview Darko more than once to see where his head is at. If he is in the right frame of mind, and wants to play in the NBA and for the Miami Heat, and seems committed, I think they might consider him.

It's more likely that his head isn't really into it though and they decide against bringing him in. He would not mesh with the other guys on the roster and could create fricton..

The more I think about it, the more I don't want him to be here. He isn't enough of an upgrade to risk jeopardising our entire chemistry.

I'd like us to make an attempt at him, but I understand if he doesn't want to come here. We'd require hard work, but would get him back in shape. Maybe that's not his bag. He could easily get the vet min and not have to work. Plus, he's already got a ring. He's not exactly chasing. Still, I'd like to get him. PEACE.

I'm with you Beasley. The numbers just don't warrant bringing in a guy with motivational and personality issues. NY can have him. Apparently they don't have enough centers.

I honestly view Oden as less of a risk. Greg's personality would surely mesh better with our guys, and I've seen him be great when healthy.
