Re: Lebron James 2013 Preview
The only stat I care about with LeBron is MPG. Last year I could sort of understand that we relied on LeBron a lot due to Wade's devil's circle of injuries and Bosh missing time as well. This season, with our increased depth and a recovered Wade, I hope we'll be able to cut down LeBron's minutes and his responsibilities on both ends of the floor. If all three of our stars can hover around 34-35 MPG, I'll be happy.

The 37.5 minutes per game Lebron played last regular season was the lowest of his entire career.
Minutes (during the regular season) were not a concern for him. He and Bosh are the lynch pins for the position less, versatility movement the Heat are going "all in" on. For that reason, I expect the two of them to lead the team in minutes per game next season (Lebron hovering around 37 minutes and Bosh between 35 and 36).
Wade is the player I expect to play the least minutes of the big three (30-32 minutes per game), with Allen cutting into not only his minutes but that of Chalmers and Cole as well. My guess would be Allen 26-30, Chalmers 24-26 and Cole 12-14 minutes per game.
-------
Chalmers 26/ Cole 12
Wade 32/ Allen 28
James 37/ Battier 20
Lewis 20/ Haslem 20
Bosh 35/ Anthony 10
I believe that Haslem, Lewis and Battier will play roughly the same amount of minutes per game with each spending time in the starting lineup during the season.
If Miller is integrated into the rotation when recovered from his various bodily ailments, I would expect him to take all of Anthony's minutes (rendering Haslem the back up center) as well as taking a minute or two from some to all of Allen, Lewis, Haslem and Battier to land in the 14-16 minutes per game range.
Don't believe the hype...
