Honestly though. As good as Heat have been I would truthfully say they have slightly under performed. Putting Bosh at the C after he PROVED what he can do during the biggest, most pressure pact time in an NBA year really shows me he is ready and this is the move for Heat. I feel the heat should without a doubt at one point in the big 3 era have a 70 win season. They really should. This is the first step to that.

Exactly, people are understating what a revelation Bosh at C has been for this team, and how much better it should make us going forward. We finally found a game that makes sense for us. Why go back to an old, archaic way of playing when we can use the regular season to perfect it and become a true juggernaut? Honestly, what you Bosh-at-PF fanatics are proposing is ludicrous.

The days of a center who can't score here are over, at least in the starting lineup. Interesting that you mention Haslem as a potential starter at the 5. Is there a difference between him starting at the 4 and Bosh at the 5? They'll switch off matchups anyway. This team is mostly positionless. Its not about who's starting where, but who's starting. No reason to argue Bosh/Haslem over Haslem/Bosh.

People act like Bosh playing C for an entire season equates to him going out on the floor and getting hobbled by the chick from Misery every night.

The wear and tear theory is overstated. Let's see what happens first.

Why are we worried about Bynum again? He plays for the Sixers. Who suck. And probably don't listen to their coach anyways. Bynum is really good, but he can't by himself turn a series like Lebron or Wade can.

Philly will be a tough out, but I don't think they are tougher than say the pacers who we knocked out without Bosh.

I don't really care what he looks like with his shirt off either. It's just a fact that though Bynum is the second best center in the game, he is not a top 20 player in the league as a whole. So the "fear" we would feel facing him is pretty mitigated.

Plus he is terrible at guarding quickness on the perimeter, which is going to make him a huge liability defensively for Philly with our shooting. Philly isn't on our level.

You are right, but the Bynum thing wasn't about anyone being scared of Philly. Diehardballfan was just saying if Bynum's fragile, out of shape self can play C full-time, Bosh should be able to also. I'm not sure I totally agree with all of the logic there, but I do agree its just as silly to worry about as it is any player getting injured guarding their natural position.
