Bad idea. We committed to giving Bibby minutes, and it nearly sank us. I get what you're saying, but no promises should ever be given on minutes. Guys need to earn their rotation spot.

I get a funny feeling Ray was given a promise on minutes, and that's the only reason he's allowed to kill our defense. Ray Allen plays defense like someone who should never normally get out of Spo's doghouse. Like Ray should be buried under the dog house with how bad he is. PEACE.

This is the next "bench warmer that would solve all are problems if Spo just played him," but then everyone sees why he doesn't play and then we choose another one. I'm guessing Lewis next.

Never saw kenyon martin half ass a game in my life. If anything he goes TOOOO hard. everyone knows that. He was playing with the clippers just last season and he was fine. He could be rusty since he hasnt played this season but Kmart not wanna play defense or try? yea watch more basketball

Kenyon Martin isn't even better than Haslem at this point.

Haslem has outrebounded and out scored Martin last year...

So....what's the point of another Vet that can't even outproduce Haslem...on top of that he wants to play.

And come on, the Miami Heat defensive system makes everyone on the team half ass.

Let's assume what you're saying is true. And it's not.. But if it is and we are paying him way less than haslem to perform less than haslem? Sounds fine. You guys are forgetting if these guys don't produce we aren't stuck with them...

I used to think the whole new york has smart basketball fans was overblown but it's starting to make sense. The thread about Kenyon Martin is everyone's all in on picking him up, because they know what he can do. Here we think haslem and Joel are much better players and way more worthy of playing time lol wow. Kenyon can't even get limited minutes on the heat lol

Haslem averaged 9 and 10 per 36

Keyon Martin averaged 8 and 7 per 36

Haslem out produces Kenyon Martin...so you sign another small PF...for what?

Haslem also out produced Kenyon Martin in the playoffs going 7 and 11

And guess what...even now...Haslem averages last year 6 and 9 per 36

Go look at the stats and tell me Haslem is the reason why the Heat can't rebound and can't play defense... He has been the most consistent in production in his available minutes...he's not playing bad at all.

Haslem is the same player he was last year and he has been consistent in his production, he is just getting lesser and lesser minutes the older he gets as the Heat starts chucking up the 3s and using the Pace and Space or

The Heat ultimately needs an up and down the floor shotblocker that can catch a lob...that's it if they wanna make an improvement on the roster.

So like I said...whats the point of having Kenyon Martin who wants consistent minutes who is not even better than Haslem and nobody on the team right now gets consistent minutes...not even Haslem. How many power forwards you wanna have on the roster...like 5...just have power forwards everywhere that is old and can't keep up...so when each one is struggling making rotations accross the halfcourt we can say we need another big

The Heat do not even really need a big man...they have enough bigs they just need to change the way they play to accomdate their roster or they need get more athletic players that can defend the way Spo wants the team to defend and rebound.

The reason why the Heat gets killed on the boards...they stopped getting to the free throw line and they started chucking 3s and teams can still chuck 3s against the Heat and out rebound them and its even worse now because the Heat chuck 3s right back instead of slowing it down and getting to the free throw line.

The Heat fell in love with the running and gunning...that's the problem.

Yeah, because this is their first time in the rotation, right? Spo didn't give them promises of minutes. They'd earned their spot in seasons prior. Who on the roster has played well enough to permanently demote them? PEACE.
