Good stuff. There were 2 things he was dead wrong on: "Haslem isn't rebounding" and "LeBron is the only one rebounding"

Fact: Haslem is this team's BEST rebounder. Indisputable.

So why isn't this reflected in Haslem's regular stats?

All you have to do is look at is his minutes. For example, the Lakers game:

Haslem: 7 rebounds in 12 minutes
LeBron: 7 rebounds in 43 minutes

You can criticize UD all you want (and some of it is merited, like his jumpshot), but you're not gonna be able to argue that he's not rebounding or that LeBron is our best rebounder.

That's my rant lol. Feel free to rebut and state your arguments. Just keep it civil is all I ask.

1.We all know what per36 is, not sure why you decided to explain it like you're in a special needs class.
2. Who said "Haslem isn't rebounding"? we all know UD is a decent rebounder, but he's not a great one, and the rest of his game is so awful that being a decent rebounder doesn't make up for it. Why isn't he a great rebounder u ask? well, 10Per36 just isn't that great. not only that, he only grabs 2.2 offensive rebounds, which is vey telling because those are much harder to get, while defensive rebounds can be cheap ones you grab before your own teamates. we also rebounder better as team when UD is on the bench, which is another indication that his affort is honorable, but he tends to get the easy ones and it doesn't really help the team.

You might want to see this article about that :
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/miamih ... bound-woes

3. Why is the rest of game so bad? if u look at the same Per36 stats, you'l see he scores 6.7 points on 47% per 36. that's terribly bad, Joel-like bad. not only can't he score, it's also bad efficiency. it's even worse considring that he cant create anything and all his shots are wide open jump shots or asisted layups.
4. As the same stats show, he can't block shots either. So you have a big man that provide absolutely no offense, no rim protection or deterrence on defence, is undersized and is a decent rebounder. that's not good overall.

With all that said, i think his last 2 games were his best of the season. his offense is still bad, but he seem abit more active and less lost out there. So im hopeing he can find at least some of his game back and be useful in limited minutes, but in no scenario we should force feed him big minutes like we did. Sadly, father time conquers all, even the toughest wariors.

Regarding Bosh, it's pretty clear that his confidence is just shot right now. The outbursts on the court for him were bizarre and out of character and he seems to not really know what to do on the floor at times. It's really puzzling.

The only reason why UD still plays the game of basketball is because of his rebounding..
Stop being so disrespectful.

From his comments it's clear that the rebounding criticism bothers him, all those games we got outrebounded by 20+ effected him. i can also tell he really wants to play next to real Center, he was so hyped about Birdman possibly joining us. i just think he's finding out that no matter how much he tries, he's not a natural Center.

Yep..it sucks because I thought this was going to be his breakout year as a HEAT member. While he's still shooting the ball at a high clip (55%), he started off really aggressive and confident which we haven't seen much of lately as he seems to be breaking down mentally..comments of "competing with teammates for rebounds" and his on court antics at LA last night...all very strange but...it's not too late to turn it around. 2nd half of the season is just getting started. Maybe a few big games from him will get him going again. Raptors on 1/23 would be a good start.

That's actually not what Stan said. A pair of his quotes in full.

14:40 minute mark:

"...It's exacerbated by the fact that the only guy rebounding the ball to what he's done in the past is LeBron. Everyone else's rebounds are down. And that's why you're last in the league in offensive rebounding percentage and 25th in the league in defensive rebounding percentage. This has become a major problem."

16:28 minute mark:

"...Everybody is down rebounding the ball. Udonis is not rebounding as well. Dwyane's not rebounding as well. LeBron's the only guy that, on the boards, is having what anybody could call a good year."

I've never seen Bosh have on court outbursts like he did against LA...he used to yell at Bargnani during timeouts but that's because he was being a pussy....Bosh is usually chill so I think he's really frustrated right now. The Heat should come out next game and run 3 or 4 plays straight for him next game, I know you guys don't really run plays but maybe throw Bosh a bone to get his confidence up.

The thing about UD is that despite him supposedly being a good rebounder, our team rebounds better when he is on the bench than when he is in the game. That suggests that he's somehow having a detrimental effect on the team's rebounding, regardless of what his numbers may be, and all we care about is team rebounding. We don't really care who is getting them.

He's in a slump. He'll break out of it like he did the last 2 seasons. PEACE.

Let me just say the fact you sit there and compare a single stat in minutes from haslem to bosh is disgusting. Haslem doesn't do a quarter on the floor as bosh.

Now.... Bosh does almost everything possible on an NBA floor during a game regardless of what it means his numbers will show. He defends every single pick and roll even if it means running out to half court and sprinting back to the paint. He helps on every help defense play trusting in his teammates to cover his back. He sets some of the best picks in the league. With all that aside he still is top 10 in the league in fg%.

Many boards are not directly being out rebounded if you understand his roll he requires help on his help defense that he gives and when it comes in late it leaves the 5 spot open for a board.

He has to play a certain style to benefit his team. If he wanted he could grab 10+ boards a game easy and has MULTIPLE 10-11 rpg seasons. That is not something a "mediocre/bad" rebounder can do. If he would to try and do this it would take away ALOT of what he does for the team in other regards. If he is considered mediocre then half the league can grab 10 boards a game if they wanted going by your theory. No bad rebounder has multiple 20+ rebound games in their career and an 18 /16 rebound games in the last few weeks.

Bosh has been noticeably lazy. A lot of people have been pointing it out. He's not hustling, not jumping and just not working that hard to grab rebound. Mind you, he's been a very good paint defender for us, and has shown and improvement in his post defense (in the games he's not playing like a bitch). He's just been all kinds of out of it. I've seen too many midget PGs grab rebounds over him this season to think this is acceptable.

That said, the second half of the season should be pretty dense for us. I don't care if he saves his legs for the postseason. As long as he gets his act together by then, it's all good. He's gone through slumps like this with us before. I'm not too concerned. PEACE.
