The reasons some posters want Dwight are :

1)they haven't seen him this year post back surgery.

2)they're tired of us playing without a Center which is still a very important position (**** smallball).
We didnt play a legitimate Center in years : Joel/Bosh/Haslem/Dampir/Big z..none of them is/was a big minutes CENTER in a normal situation. And i agree that a decent Center would be a big help. BUT....Dwight is an overkill and we shouldn't give up Bosh in order to fill the Center hole. We just need a young Birdman type..a Center that can grab boards, block shots and finish in the paint and maybe hit the occasional open jumper. that's it.
We dont need a Dwight that worries about his shots, whines and has a huge ego. a young Birdman/Dalmbert/Brad Miller/Emeka Okafor/Dale Davis type - a strong role player that plays hard and like doing his job that's all that's needed next to the big 3. We dont need to trade for a superstar with an ego.

bosh was avraging 10+rebounds in toronto. He wasnt far away from howard.

fact number 2, howard would clog the paint..and hinder lebron's offence.

bosh > howard for us...

No.. Howard would whine about touches here too.. And we are not going to break up the big three for anything.. Bosh works best with a defensive, crashing the boards, hustling big. We should be looking to draft someone like that or trade for someone like that stashed away at the bench on some team. We need a Rodman..
Noah, Sanders, Faried, Jordan Hill etc type of guy..

I'm not against looking at Dwight. But he'd have to accept that he's not an offensive force. He'd have to accept being at best a 3rd offensive option and he'd have to sacrfice to the team idea.

I'm not sure he could do any of those things. If he could , even now, he's better that Chris, and I like Chris.

A Bosh for Dwight would benefit both teams. I can't see Riley trading Wade for Dwight but I can definitely see him trading Bosh for him with his obsession with dominant big men.

Bosh is a great fit for LeBron and Wade. Dwight just clogs the paint. Like others said, all we need is a 7' that hustles, rebounds, blocks shots next to Bosh.

Plus, Dwight comes with that extra baggage that really puts me off. He doesn't really seem to have a winning mentality. And the way he's played this year, granted coming off major surgery, getting the ball stripped, abysmal at the FT line, I'll pass.

Big no to DH12.
I would love a player like Tyson Chandler, Noah, Asik etc ,,, a 10pt 12reb defensive big, thats all we need, DH12 is overrated, injury prone , wants to shoot 20 times a game, has a primadona atitude and wants a max contract.

I can't see anyone in their right mind making that trade either.

Dwightmare aside, you put him on this HEAT team and these guys are winning championships for the next 5 years. When he's playing up to the level of the previous year...which I do believe he's capable of once healthy....this team is unstopable...but another thing, playing the way he is now 17/12/2.5..this team would STILL be unstoppable lol. D12's trade value isn't plummeted like the OP has made it out to be either. The problem with Dwight is will he commit? There's only a couple of teams that Howard is believed to actually commit to, and what team wants to clean house for a few month's rental? That's the biggest problem there. I seriously question whether the Lakers would trade Dwight for Bosh or Wade. I don't think they'd do it... Although I was talking to a friend who said HEAT could have Gasol for Bosh....
