Part of the reason we can convince the Big3 to take pay cuts in their prime, and Ray to sign for half the price, is because Pat and Micky can show FA targets that they honor the sacrifice. Besides, as others have noted, we can't get any real value for him. His next contract will be smaller than it is now, but not vet minimum. He's better than vet min. PEACE.
