Well I'm going on how you win games this season and unless you're going to knock down 19 threes against the Heat in not scared of you. I'm way more concerned with the Heat being their own worst enemy

so far it has to be the pacers. they have the blue print to really get under miami's skin by eliminating our fast break opportunities, their efficiency by attacking our weak defensive interior so far offensively in these two meetings has been cray. us not having a dominate big to defend the paint has really been exposed by indiana. the only reason why i'm not too sold on them because of these 2 reasons...

1. they don't have a superstar, in the playoffs in this league, superstars win championships/series. indy doesn't have a go-to-guy in the 4th quarter if the game gets close.
2. david west is known for being a jump shooter. he may post up from time to time but he's not very consistent at it.

i agree what somebody said earlier in this thread about how weak the east is this year. it's just sad, there is only 4 good teams that are contenders after us and that's NYK, IND, CHI & BKN and all of them won't beat us. the knicks have slowed down after that hot start and their offense just depends on pick and roll and jacking up 3pt shots. i was sold on them earlier in the season but like i said you can't win in the playoffs doing that. chicago is going to be tough but their bench is weaker then ever & can't forget about boozer, that dude always disappears in the post season & don't even get me started on the nets...

btw why are there two knicks fans posting on here??? this is a thread asking heat fans who the biggest threat to us in the east. go back to your board please. nobody is going to have faith in the knicks outside of knicks fans because this is the same team that hasn't got out of the first round in nearly a decade. get out of the first round first and then you can consider your team a threat...

We need to make a trade in my opinion. See what we can get for Miller's contract, if anything...... we need something that gives us separation. I thought Ray would be it but I really feel we're missing a true scorer, Lou/JR Smith type of player. Everything goes downhill when Lebron is on the bench even with Wade and Bosh, it's ridiculous.

I seriously wish we could have afforded Crawford.

There's going to be playoff games where Lebron is not going to get a minute of rest. That's just stupid, but our only way. I mean what the hell are we paying Miller 5 million per year for? Even Anderson sees more minutes on the court than Miller does and Anderson has been here for like 13 days.

This might not be a popular choice but I say Tracy McGrady is intriguing.

To top it all.. They've hardly played against good teams..
Especially the ones from the West.. Those games will only come up after the all star break..
The knickerbockers just don't have what it takes.. No championship resolve or a player who is really hungry and do whatever the hell it will take to win..
Every championship team needs players with that mentality..

Another first round exit for the Knicks this year, I wonder how Knicks fans will react since this was the year they win it all supposedly..

Until somebody dethrones the heat, the heat is the one to beat in the east...

But after the heat i would have to say the knicks.

Injury. If we stay healthy, we repeat. Plain and simple.

Return to Miami Heat
