Mario Chalmers became the 28th former Kansas basketball player to have his jersey number retired Saturday as his No. 15 jersey was hung up in the rafters of Phog Allen Fieldhouse during halftime of the Jayhawks’ game against Texas this weekend.
“It’s something you always hope for,” Chalmers said. “It was one of my dreams growing up, to leave my mark at every school I went to. One of them happened to be Kansas. I’m glad I was able to do that.”

This probably doesn't mean much to those of us who only watch the NBA but his game-tying shot at KU in 08 will probably end up being the most memorable moment of his career. Congrats Mario!
