LeBron James said he would have his knee examined on Sunday evening as a precautionary measure.

James fell awkwardly to the court when going for an alley-oop in the Miami Heat's 99-93 win at the Knicks.

James appeared to hyperextend his left leg and then grabbed his knee.

“I was concerned,” James said. “I’m still concerned a little bit.”

James expected the knee to swell during the flight to Minnesota.

Now I'm really wishing we would've rested the big 3. This winning streak and our record seems so petty right now. Why do people get caught up in the regular season... :nonono:

You know his knee responded well on the flight to Minnesota right? He's more than likely playing tonight, so I kinda wish he'd rest. Ah well, I've enjoyed watching him play, so it'd be a win-win for me either way.

He's just fine and they said he'll be playing tonight...He's so dedicated to the game of basketball that no injury can keep him out...Especially at the non stop rate he's been playing at...

He seemed fine, and apparently there is no swelling. This kind of stuff always seems obvious in hindsight. The way Lebron is, I wouldn't be shocked if he logged 30+ mins tonight. He isn't going to sit or take a game off. Not unless its a week or two from playoffs.

Nope, didn't read that. Thanks for the update.

I agree, nothing can stop players from wanting to play. That's where the good sense of their coach comes in and does the right thing of resting them.

No problem bro. I think Wade, Bosh alone could handle an injury-riddled Wolves team, but oh well. Just get the win....though we're due for a let down.

Yeah I think those 2 can handle it. Besides, we're only playing to keep the streak alive when you think about it. We're a virtual lock for HCA through the East with a comfy 7 game lead in the standings. And like you said, we're due for a let down at some point. Can't win em all. Might as well have a soft landing by losing a game because we chose to rest our guys.

Its the start of March. Should we just not play him until the playoffs?
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.

I'm not sure how you got "Don't play the big 3 for the remainder of the season" from "We should rest the big 3."
