They were trying Howard at the 3 last season? What kind of lineup would that even be a part of?

They played him at the 3 in that Toronto game at the end of the year...he was the PnR ball handler on a couple plays, lol. It was not pretty.

Oh ha I never can really bring myself to fully watch those games.

It just seems weird for Spo to just volunteer that he can play three positions. I guess I read working him at the three as in practice or something.

Why sign him when he can do off court stuff as an assistant coach? He can't go on the court and show any Pacers players the error of their ways if they get out of hand. There is at least one reason most of the guys still available are still out of work, they suck, or suck enough that Miami'd be pretty well f'd if we had to play them.

Its clear Juwan was bought back because he's a goood locker room guy and has a chemistry with the guys.

NO matter who they would have signed, he'd be sitting at the end of the bench, so what does it matter.

Guys we signed him cause Riley is loyal to him and he's loyal to the heat organization and the dude just wants another ring and hell yes, wouldn't you do the same as juwan? Let him ride the royal coat tails that hang off the end of our bench
