The Heat, they are not so worried.
Chris Bosh summed it up speaking with the New York Times.
“Everybody has confidence against us until we take it away,” said Bosh, who led the Heat with 23 points. “They’re a good team.” He added of the playoffs, “They can feel like they have a chance, but I like our chances.”

what facts? Do u know what fact means?

whatever im out.. im not going to get carried away here :D

Facts:
Miami Heat are superior to the Knicks franchise in every possible way even though we've been in this league for half the years your franchise has been.

You won't win more than 1 game in a series against us.

Lebron > Carmelo

Wade > any guard you have, and Wade averages 22 PPG on 54% shooting against Shumpert.
Bosh > Any big you have

Our bench > yours.

Spoelstra > Woodson

Those are the facts. Your team don't stand a chance in hell.

On here it says Wade averages 25 PPG on 54% shooting vs Shumpert...

Spo last night had to adjust one thing, the way he guarded melo and all night they let melo get open. Kept helping on fat ass felton and all he did was penetrate and kick and there melo was all alone

Simple in game defensive adjustments that spoke couldn't make in 2011 are what he struggles with still

The fact that we almost won without a single player that can create for themselves other than Bosh was something else. We looked like we played a college style offense out there, just swinging the ball till there's an open guy.

The Heat at this point know what needs to be done come playoff time. With the remaining games left in the season it's all about managing minutes and giving guys that don't play a lot of minutes like Miller, Lewis, JJ, etc. some confidence heading into the post-season so that when their numbers are called then they know exactly what to do...

He should. That like ankle tweak he had late in the game against the Knicks scared me. Lebron should at least play 30 to give the bench a little bit of a break. Guys like Miller are fragile enough without going down right before playoffs.

You're talking about how the Knicks likely feel, and then accusing me of dealing with "intangibles"? LMAO dude.

The scoreboard means NOTHING once the playoffs start. It doesn't give them a single extra point in a series against us. Let them feel confident. Do you really think our guys are scared of them?

Point taken, with regard to the first part of your post.

As for the second part of your post,No,I don't think the Heat are scared of the Knicks. But,in the back of the Heat's mind,it has to gnaw at them that the Knicks have gotten the better of them during the regular season, and maybe, just maybe the fact that the Knicks have had the Heat's number, has created a little room for trepidation in their collective minds.

Trepidation is defined in the dictionary as "tremulous fear" and if that tremulous fear exists, even a tiny bit of it, then it must exist because the Knicks have gotten the best of the Heat thus far, so similarly the Pacers and Bulls should also cause an amount of trepidation among the players, and this I find wholly ludicrous on its face. Every result in sports, or the real world, every piece of information gathered, every number, every bit, every observation, must be put in context. Information that isn't put in context is useless information. It carries no predictive power, it's just rubbish. Sports bettors, especially analytical ones recognize this, the average fan rarely does.

Here's reality for a Knicks team playing some of their best basketball of the season. With about 4-minutes left in a game that the Knicks desperately needed for playoff seeding, with their best player on his way to a 50-point night, they were tied with a Heat team without LeBron, Wade or Chalmers. I doubt the Heat have much trepidation about that, if anything the Knicks are looking at that and wetting the bed. It's not information they can look favorably at. If Carmelo plays his averages, they lose in a blowout, that's not reassuring for the Knicks going forward no matter how brave a front they put up.
