The funny thing about our team is people like to claim that we're cocky and we're this and that but we don't talk about anyone, we go about our business, we don't call out other teams, we don't remind the knicks they haven't made it out the first round in ages, we don't show those teams from the bulls to the Pacers to the celtics nothing but respect but they always talking and even when teams talk we reply like this

I don’t get into that, man,” Heat forward Udonis Haslem said. “The game is played between the lines. I wish guys would just play the game of basketball. I don’t like to do much talking, but everybody’s not like me.”

Some Heat players see their ability to shake everything off as a strength.

“Honestly, we don’t care,” forward Shane Battier said. “I think that’s just the maturity of this team. We know who we are. We don’t need to put anyone down to raise ourselves up. At the end of the day, there’s always gonna be that 48 minutes. So that’s all that matters. … Statements that are made about us are not going to offend us.”

Look at all those fools talking smack about Heat and getting beaten up. Just look them.

It's funny because Felton's had some horrible years in his career, and he's not exactly that much better than Chalmers at this point in his career.

I've been a huge fan of Chalmers since his high school days, and was absolutely STOKED when we made that trade on draft day. That being said... people don't realize how smart of a player Chalmers is. His scoring is sporadic because he plays within the game. If he needs to pick his game up, he can, and he does... routinely. He can drop that 15-20+ whenever the team needs. And on the other hand, if the BIG 3 are doing their thaang, all he really needs to do is feed them the ball and space the floor (and be ready for that open 3). But if the team needs that extra push, Chalmers delivers. He knows his role, and plays it perfectly.

Haslem is more of a weakness than Rio though. But I guess if Felton wanted to talk **** about Haslem--he knows UD would just drop him the first time he went in the paint.

Ya no one is dumb enough to talk bad about Haslem, that just wont lead to good things for that person.

Funny thing is, if you look at their playoff numbers (granted Mario has been lucky enough to play in a lot more playoff games than Felton) Mario blows him away. Like I've said before, I want to see that fat man have HALF the game Mario did in the Finals. Last years playoff numbers for Rio are actually really damn good for playing with the caliber of players he plays with.

Chubby would never say that about UD, he wants to maintain his privilege of walking into the local Mcdonalds not wheeling in.
