Ray Allen. But Shane is more valuable to the team.

Battier for his defense, IQ, and three point shot.

Washed up, bum knees, no D, streaky, no stamina, athleticism gone, shot not falling, not to mention wed have a **** of swingmen, while battier can move between 2-4.
Don't forget the 1st round exit curse. It's very real

I can't believe people are still saying Miller. Look at the difference on defense

I'd say its a tie between Battier and Chalmers. Both have been great for Miami. Battier never backs down from any challenge and although sometimes it can be bad, neither does Chalmers. Both have great clutch ability, and both help the Big 3 in many different ways. I also think that Chalmers can still get better which is great.
If only Chalmers could throw a better lob though!

I'd have to say Battier but I think Ray is going to be incredibly important during the playoffs.
I don't think we'll see so much of Mario in the playoffs and little in 4th quarters.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Battier. His defensive versatility allows us to play the efficient small ball in the first place and takes a lot of pressure off of the Big Three on both ends of the floor. Plus, find me someone who rotates better in the league than him. You'll rarely ever see Shane miss a defensive assignment and that's a quality not too many players have in this league.

Harder than I thought.
When Rio has it going on both ends, we are a complete terror and we cause SOOOO many turnovers.
When Battier has it going, we are a complete team; consistent D, whether in the paint or beyond, and scary offense, we are unstoppable when Battier hits 3s.
When Ray has it going, its the same with Battier on the offensive end but not as good defensively
Hmm...it's really tight between Rio and Battier.
I'm go with Battier, he's more consistent.

These past few games show how Miller easily couldve been the 4th best player had he never got hurt. The dude is just lethal from 3.

Re: Who is the fourth best player on the Heat?
Miller has been showing recently what was expected of him from day one. Maybe not everyday all star level box scores, but he does have the ability to carry a team with his overall game for periods of time. While he may not be a defensive ace and gets burnt due to lack of lateral agility, he can score, rebound, and pass with the best of them. He'd get my vote as number 4.
5th would be a battle between Battier and Chalmers. Battier is currently fitting in one of the nicest niche roles I've seen a player hold. He plays very well in his assigned role. Chalmers has been a fave of my since his first season. I cursed him on many occassions for boneheaded plays, but he has gotten better over time, and cuts down on those bad plays when the games are more meaningful.
