Bosh was robbed

Atleast they are safe, thank god they didn't take his ring. Even if the robber knew what he was doing, if they stole the ring they'd be the only one to have it and they'd get caught pretty quick trying to sell that thing.

But yeah this is an inside job... I feel bad for Bosh. I know this is like pocket change to him but he doesn't deserve to be robbed, not cool.

I hope they catch whoever did it. They have security cameras, and it wasn't a forced entry. AND they stole his stuff when he was away.

IIRC Bosh's kids were in the house at the time, so the most important thing is that they're alright.

Personally, if I had that much money, I'd have cameras and a couple of Pitbulls, or at the very least a couple of dogs. I just love Pits so I guess I'll go with them, but him and his wife probably buy into the notion that they're a dangerous breed.

Pit bulls are scary looking dogs with ears clipped and fit, but they don't make good guard dogs. Totally off topic, but I just hate my favorite breed being slandered by "pro pit bull" lovers... They will probably start playing with the robber if the robber is not scared of dogs.

And once they bite you, it's very tough to get them to release their grip short of tranquilizers or killing them. If a robber knows what type of dog they're dealing with, they'd either kill dog or just run off. I'm a dog lover, not loyal to any breed, but I love Pits in particular. What dog do you recommend?

If a pitbull is specially trained to be aggressive, sure, but aggressive behavior toward humans is an uncharacteristic trait in this breed.

Boerboels, Bullmastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers and German Shepards are much better guard dogs (not to be confused with watch dogs).
