Lebron to return.

Glad to see us start resting Bosh. The dude needs a few games. Hopefully Wade returns vs. Bucks and sits vs. Boston.

There's a difference between rest and a vacation. You can trim their minutes and give them every 2nd or 3rd game off to rest them.

They'll be ready for the playoffs. All that matters is that everyone gets there healthy. I think our magic number is 2 for HCA, so once we clinch that, I don't care if all the starters suddenly develop injuries. It's a veteran group. They stay ready. PEACE.

I hope Wade gets a run out before the playoffs start. Otherwise he's going to be really rusty to start. We all know Wade kind of sucks the first game back from long layoffs. Would like to get that lemon he's about to lay out before the playoffs start.

I can't believe he's hurt again though. It's like clockwork. Playoffs start, Wade's knee starts acting up. We did everything possible to get him to the playoffs without being hurt and it still didn't totally work. On the plus side, we have Ray Allen and a healthy (knock on wood) Mike Miller this time around.

He will have 4 games against the Bucks to "get ready" for the playoffs. Seriously ppl need to chill about this, rest > all this other crap. I want Wade's knee to be as close as possible to 100% when it matters, not for some joke matchup vs the Bucks/Brklyn/Atlanta.

Looks like Wade's knee issue has been bothering for a while (since around the time I talked about it and nobody believed it) and appears to take longer after all. I knew he had knee issues, just didn't think it'd require as much rest and treatment since he was recently listed with a sprained ankle and bruised knees don't always take that long.

Well... it's a right knee contusion he's nursing, not the surgically repaired one which is a plus but apparently Wade is just kind of injury prone...which is a bit of a bummer but it is what it is. I still think this is more precautionary than anything though, considering he looked good in his last game. There's just no real need for him to play right now and Wade torches the Bucks so rhythm won't be a problem either if he does decide to sit out for the remainder of the regular season.

Well he's participated in most of our games in the past five seasons, but with his playing style for a guy his size and his freak injury history, it's no surprise that his body doesn't heal as quickly. It's not as if he couldn't play with this injury, but, even though he looked better against the Bulls and Hornets, his motions are still limited, which is something everybody who has ever had a real bruise can confirm. Nonetheless, knee issues are never to be taken lightly, especially in a sport that relies heavily on a player's knees.
What's important is that he can rest enough to avoid any swelling going forward and to thus avoid further damage and possible cortisone shots to even be able to play somewhat pain free. It doesn't appear to be anything as serious as it was last year and the fact that we can sit him for an extended stretch now is a huge plus.

There's a new report on realgm saying that Wade could sit until the playoffs. that's not a good idea imo, I fear that he might be out of rhytm if we rest him for the what's left of the regular season. I remember back in the 2006-2007 season when the mavs had the best record in the league and got too lazy. they rested players for too long so they were completely out of rhytm and were upset by a motivated and underrated warriors team. Don't want that to happen to the heat. :-?

Totally agree. It's really annoying to see Wade, James and Anderson always miss one of two free throws at the line. That's one of the things the heat should improve come playoff time.

Tim Reynolds
Dwyane Wade plans to play Friday against Boston, after missing six games with bone bruises around right kneecap.

It'll be good for him to get some PT before the close of the regular season. Will probably get somewhere around 30 minutes Friday.

Sweet!

KG + Pierce aren't playing though... so should be an easy win

yeah just read Wade returning for the Celtics game... it's a good game to get some rust off. I just hope he doesn't get hurt or bump his knees... though even if he does, more rest again lol.
