To echo a few sentiments, he seems to have fit in seamlessly & appears to have been that missing spark. Hopefully we can retain him next year. Probably mini-MLE for 2 years, with PO on the 3rd - or something like that. Imagine having him for the full 82 at 100%...

I also think the success he's had will help us sign Oden in the offseason. A lot of the talk in the press from Conley Sr seems to be the Heat and Oden have eyes for each other & this year was just a bit too soon.

Why do you think The signing of Birdman has made Bosh more comfortable? Bosh has been terrible lately, he really need to pick it up, not rebounding or shooting well.

Bosh has been up and down but we are winning.

Bosh has had some BIG offensive games earlier on and then has gone for the 10 pts 10 rebounds type games. I think he can give us more at times but at the end of the day it isn't about individual stats it's about WINNING.

The Bird had helped us to WIN plain and simple.

He was one of my favorite players back in his Denver days. Go Birdman! P.S. please embarrass those stupid Knicks in the playoffs :D

Soaring: Chris 'Birdman' Andersen giving Heat a huge boost, and now eyeing playoff run

MIAMI – It takes four losses for a team to be eliminated from the NBA postseason, as anyone who follows the league surely knows.

So here's another statistic among the many that would support the reigning champion Miami Heat carrying the role of overwhelming favorite into these playoffs: Chris Andersen hasn't been part of four losses this season.
Total, that is...

Riley said Spoelstra frequently texted him, imploring him to sign Chris Andersen before Miami did so in January. “If I got another text from him, I was going to put my hands around his neck," Riley said.

"That’s a Spo addiction the past two years with me. Spo knows exactly what he needs. Chris is the perfect complement to how they want to play, the energy he brings.”
