Chris Bosh and REBOUNDS!

Post#1 » by mlagoa » Wed May 29, 2013 4:08 am

Wft problem with Chris Bosh?

In East finals vs Pacers Bosh have a fantastic 3.3 REBOUNDS PER GAME in 32min....

3.3 REBOUNDS for a PF.

Vs Indiana, Bosh role need to be focus on REBOUNDS!
Sorry my bad english

The guy is as soft as marshmallow.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

I do admit his rebounds are really bi-polar, It's funny because when he speaks on it - next game he actually shows it as well - He is not a 5.... he is destined to be a 4, he can't box out C's and can't jump over em. That's a different issue though.

Hibbert is just dominating him.

Oh and also Spo really dismantled CB's game - This guy let's him camp on outside shots (Long 2's) and behind the 3 point line... never going deep in the post where he can draw fouls and be effective and also nab offensive rebounds as well.

We as fans have to just accept him for who he is.

But yeah, it's really frustrating to watch Bosh get 3 rebounds a game.

It's not just his rebounds.

Chris Bosh is killing our team because he can't box out Hibbert. Which means the Pacers are getting anything they want in the paint with tip ins and putbacks.

We beat the Pacers last year without him. Bench his ass or play him at the 4. We need Joel Anthony in the game

The problem was best seen in to me the most pivotal play of the game when after good defense on Hibberts jump hook, Bosh watched the ball and did not box out this allowed Hibberts to get the rebound score and draw Lebron's 5th foul. We need Anthony in for defense!!!!!! On offense Pacers adjusted by running at Bosh who is slow in getting the jumper off. Well now he needs to pump fake and go to the hoop!!!!

It's easy to blame Bosh but he's working against bigger stronger players. It's hard to rebound when you're boxing out - that's where your teammates have to step up. He needs to knock his shots down more than anything else for us.

It's also hard to rebound when you're soft as a twinkie filling and can't box out your own grandma from getting rebounds. I know it's not easy fighting with a 7'2'' 270 pound monster but getting 3 boards per game is disgraceful to say the least. Even if you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you're bound to have some balls fall in your lap sooner or later.

Joel Anthony needs to see the 5 a lot this series for defensive purposes...he loves this kind of stuff

Bosh is kind of soft

If you're keeping Hibbert away from a rebound or West away from a rebound it is NOT your job to get the rebound.

Don't get me wrong he should be getting more rebounds but the attacks and your hate are OTT.

How do you figure? Boxing out isn't only about keeping a guy off the boards ... it's about out-positioning him to grab the rebound. You can and should do both.

Where did this crazy idea come from? Boxing out makes it easier to rebound. If it was the other way around, then no one would bother doing it.

sorry face boxing - I should have been more explicit for you to understand.

When you have a man-mountain against you a coach will often designate a player to keep them out of position for rebounds which in turn takes the defender out of the rebound. This should level the field and allow your other players to grab rebounds (Allen got 7 for god's sake!!!) The fact is as a team we were weak at rebounding and again I'll popint out that my favourite Player DWade was the worst for this - only 3 from him is well below respectable.

 whuoooooo? No, damn I won't accept a soft ass player that is supposed to be our 5 that has 3.7reb oer 36 min' while an 38 years old small guard Ray Allen is averaging 5.2 reb' per 36 min'!
