Exhibit 1: you are a Bynum fan.
Exhibit 2: you are apparently unaware that after catching the ball on the move you can take 2 steps, regardless of the direction (could be one forward and one back)
Now GTFO with this ****.
Calm down bro, no need to get personal.
I just don't understand that on the ESPN video Steve Javie says that Wade didn't establish his right foot as his pivot foot. Because he clearly picks up the ball when his right foot is the only part of his body touching the floor, making it his pivot foot, right? Then he hops off of that foot (1st step), brings his left foot to the ground (2nd step) and then right foot to the floor (3rd step). If it is like Steve Javie said that he didn't establish his right foot as his pivot foot then clearly not a travel, but to me it looks so clear that right foot is his initial pivot foot.
Ok, my bad for getting personal, but your post smelled of trolling and having an agenda.
In case you're serious, you're also WRONG. That's not a travel.
His initial pivot is the left foot. He fakes while moving the right (left foot is pivot, stays in place), then dribbles taking a step forward. Step forward = planting the right foot and lifting the left. But that's on the dribble, so it doesn't count towards a travel call.
Then as he gathers the ball, he takes a step back, planting the left and lifting the right. You could even argue that being on the gather it shouldn't count, either. But he got the ball before lifting the right foot, so we can say he took ONE STEP.
After the gather off the dribble you can take TWO steps. To be called for a travel you have to take THREE steps.
Wade only took ONE.
I don't know how more clear I can make this.
Not only was it a bad call, it was beyond stupid, because he could have legally taken another step.
It's like being called out of bounds when you're at the free throw line.
Joey is a horrible ref. Absolutely incompetent. And besides that, he wants to be the star.
