Wade is likely always injured unless he gets the kobe surgery and gets a consistent jump shot. Keep in mind kobe got that surgery but he's still a better JUMP SHOOTER. so the affect on his game is different. Wade is a slasher. So yea that...

Like I said. Going forward we need a shooting guard that can get his own shot and can spread the court. More importantly we need a big, a real big.. Move Bosh back to PF. Dude has no interest In playing center

This post is bad and you should feel bad.
We all know Wade is a slasher since his rookie years, but his jumpshot was fine during the season. He is injured, a bone bruise, and it's affecting the way he plays.

Also Bosh made a commitment to play the Center during the whole season, are we forgetting that? Bosh is doing his best out there in the floor, we should give him props because he's going up against 2 bigs. D-West/Hibbert.

People need to chill af, are you guys even real heat fans? Calling out our superstars in this team just because their not producing as much as you like them to be, I mean c'mon, whatever happen to rooting for your team just for the sake for rooting for them?

C'mon MAAAN.

Bosh is not trying his hardest so lets not pretend. 3.5 rebounds or whatever he's averaging? Bosh constantly is outhustled and the sad thing is he was guarding West while UD at 6'8 was guarding Hibbert so Bosh was essentially playing at the PF position. He has no excuse for his lack of effort

Wade had a short run of hitting his jumpers here and there in the regular season but it has never been consistent or reliable all year, healthy or not, Wade just needs to dedicate himself to shooting in the off season. From mid range and so on, the pacers are making him a liability cause everyone helps off of him due to his lack of range... stop with the excuses its now or never

youre way too sensitive. and Nah anyone with any bit of a conscience knows Wade's jumper is suspect. Needs to improve it, also needs to improve from 3. Otherwise the other parts of his game is elite.

No sensitivity here, just allergic to bulls***.

man you really think Wade has a good long range jumper? hahhha you allergic to yourself?

Where did I say he has a good long range jumper? That's a conclusion you drew. I said this season his jump shooting was decent compared to other seasons. That's all I pointed out and showed comparisons to other star players to show he isn't as awful as he's pictured to be. This is what the statistics you chose to simply ignore were for.
My point is, his jump shot itself isn't the problem, it's his health and nothing else. When he was healthy this season, he was a dominant 2nd option next to LeBron and just around then, we happened to start playing great basketball and had a winning streak going.
Nonetheless, you're overreacting to his current struggles. Even if he was a great shooter, he wouldn't be very productive right now and do you know why? Because he's injured, end of the story. No skill in the world could help Wade at this point. Why do you think he only took 8 shots?

really pointless going back and forth. I dont think his jumpshot is good enough.I think he can improve it. I don't even really like the mechanics, he always seems to fade -away on it. I think he improves that and his 3 and we're good. This will extend his career. Never saw him as a good long range jumpshooter. Just my opinion and thats all.

I dont really see how im overreacting to his struggles. All i said is dude gotta improve his jumper and you givin me a whole run down on stuff thats irrelevant to what im saying. Healthy or not he never had a strong jumper to me and if Bron can improve his, wade can too..just takes time and dedication. Hes a shooting guard after all.

On another note, I really liked the job Haslem did on Hibbert.

Hibbert ain't even running out on Bosh when he shoots. This series should be cake to Bosh form mid range. Even when dude is in the paint his shot is getting blocked or he's getting stripped.

He played a great series against the Bulls. But they had no bench and their front line was prolly too tired half the time smh

I dont get it either bro.

And im gettin real tired of people making excuses, thats what losers do, make excuses. For winners, there are no excuses.

All this talk of, "what do you expect from him? Hes only doing what asked of him/ its his position on the floor/ our system doesnt allow him to have the kind of numbers you want from him, blah blah blah"

B U L L S H I T!!!!!!!!!

Didnt he just have a 20 pt 20 board game not too long ago? Havent the big 3 all scored 30 plus points in the same game before? Hasnt bosh had huge games with us NUMEROUS TIMES? Or are yall trying to convince me that Bosh has averaged 7 pts 3 rebounds since he got to Miami due to "Our system"?

Cuz thats bull too, i seem to remember him averaging around 17/8 since he joined wade and lebron.

You know what I think the problem here is?

EFFORT.

Effort and fragile emotions from not having the role he used to have.

Which is a good thing, because since its all mental (not physical like wade) it can be fixed.

THANK YOU!!!

True, wade's jumper needs some major work, it's only going to get more obvious as we go foward. He needs to plant his feet, go straight up, and follow through his form.

Wade's jumper was fine during January to March. Some pretty good stat that he shot 42% from midrange which is pretty high. Obviously the success of his jumper is dependent on the health of his knee. That bruised knee he suffered late in the year was some freak accident that should've been handled better, like just sit him out the rest of the year, but that's all hindsight.

Yes, he can always improve his mechanics, which I hope he does. I hate seeing him unnecessarily fade away on his shots. It's pretty evident when he goes straight up, his jumper is money. But he always fades, I just don't understand.

He doesn't necessarily need a longer range jumper, like the 3 pointer, but yes, a VERY consistent midrange jumper, which he's shown in the past, will do wonders for him. Again though, its dependent on the health of his knee. Hopefully the guy can catch a couple breaks, and not have these freak injuries happen at ill opportune times.

damn

Saw this during the game and it looked as though only Chris Bosh was really listening. I think it pumped up Lebron more than anyone else. He pumps others up with his play NOT his words.

Wade seemed to be trying hard not to laugh - I probably would have to.

Man...

8pts/8bds/ 2blk and great defense in 24 mins in his 1st year in helping the Heat win the championship.

Three years from now turns into a legit #2 or #3 on championship squad. DWade transitions to a "Manu Ginobli" type role..

ahhhh

Its nice to dream. :) :(

This series has shown us at least 2 thing's, we need some size & Indy isn't going away.

Greg would be the perfect Center to have on the bench for a Team like Indy or Grizz. I actually think Oden would be great in Miami and would actually be a partnership that works for player & team. Greg shouldn't play any whree they expect anything from. He needs to be brought along slow and given minutes from time to time. In Miami he would get that while also getting some potential important key minutes the way Birdman is gaining now.

Always said I'd like us to take a chance on Oden.
In this communal dream can we believe that Riley talks LA into a S&T of Howard for bosh. Bosh outside Gasol inside works for them  We have Bron and howard with Wade doing anything he wants.

posted this in the gamethread but I'll put it here too, you can see what LeBron says here clearly

he was saying "we are playing like straight up pussies (or bitches)... "stop playing like pussies (or bitches)".
