Keys to the next game:

Wade play with agression. He's the main guy the shooters keep getting open on. His rotations are slow, and he's not even boxing out. We need him to initiate offense, because he's too slow to cut off the ball, and the D is sagging off. His P&R game is still effective.

Lebron in the post. For some reason Lebron loses his jumpshot in the Finals, so he should do what he did last year and stay inside. Noody has stopped him when he's done this.

I actually like that Bosh is finally rebounding, but maybe we can see if getting him involved early might help, since we need him to get going to space the floor better.

yeah it was so much better when we only had Wade fans

Fans are fans bro. Some of them have favorite players too, big deal. Why is everyone on here so concerned with criticizing the "fandom" of everyone else? Get off your high horse.

It's both the coach and the players. You don't need a coach to tell you to man up and play like you deserve to be there. That part at least isn't his fault, play hard or go the heck home.

There's tons of heat/wade fans on here I don't know what you talkin bout. Wade is pretty much the untouchable around these parts

I wouldnt say untouchable. Many Wade fans ditched him for Lebron then when Lebron vanishes its back on the team Wade wagon. I just wish Wade would play with more focus. Leaving his man wide open in an island to shoot the three :(

Let's say we win one of the next two games to send it back to Miami. Would you rather it be tonight's game, or game 5? The result would be the same--but the situation would be different.

I think I'd prefer to win tonight--just so the situation isn't "you have to win 3 straight to win the title". We're going to have to win two straight at some point this series if we want to win it.

Also it's funny, if we win tonight, the narrative completely switches for game 5 where now the pressure is on the Spurs.

This isn't on him though.

The extra pass will always ALWAYS kill the Pat Riley defensive system. That is why Spo looks so sad, he knows there is nothing he can do.

It wasn't the extra pass that killed us as much as offensive rebounds. They got a lot of 3s with our defense not set, coming out of a long rebound by Leonard or his ilk. Which is the worst kind of 3 to give up, because it means the Heat played great enough defense to force a miss, but didn't finish the play.

The sad thing is that the Spurs are not a good rebounding team, but they're bossing us like Indiana right now because we're just getting outworked. At least in game 3. Game 1 we got tired in the 4th I felt. Game 2 we worked harder than them. and Game 3 they worked harder then us.

If we work harder than them we will win game 4. It's about effort as much as anything. And it's not that we're not giving effort--it's that we're not giving "oh **** we're about to get eliminated effort".

Naw dog, the extra pass is forcing the help defender to help another help defender. This means that when the shot goes up instead of Heat players being in a box-out position, they are in frantic close out positions. THAT is why you get killed on the offensive glass.

Sorry for your loss my friend but effort will not help in this situation.

They aren't a good offensive rebounding team but they killed us on the boards because we had to trade defense and rebounding for offense because we aren't able to produce enough offense without doing so despite having more than enough offensive talent.

Now it looks like we are going even further in that direction. It'll work if our jumpers are falling but a team this good shouldn't have to be relying on that to win.
