So not making calls actually favors the Spurs more than the Heat. If u look at the last 3 games in SA, the heat are trying to take the ball to the rim far more than the Spurs. The spurs are more of a jump shooting team now than the heat.. The refs not making the calls actually favors spurs more than the heat.
The difference is Spurs are making the outside shots far more consistently than the heat and that to me is the difference so far.

It is pathetic to see LBJ and Wade passing off on open jump shots. Thats not gonna win against a spurs defence.

The spurs are getting ticky tack calls, it's not consistent. Every time we make a run a foul is called. The moving screen call on LBJ was the final straw for me

started to read donaghy's article until i saw

"Miami gets this call because they are down 20. Just another example of the refs giving some sympathy to a team getting blown out, even though Chalmers's elbow was a possible flagrant foul."

lmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaao is he **** serious? it was the complete opposite all game long. hoe please

Personally I think LeBron didn't do himself any favors with the refs when he said prior to game 4 vs the Pacers that flopping wasn't a bad thing and that you need every edge you can get in the game. I feel that was when he stopped getting the calls.

This. Sometimes he needs to learn to be quiet to the media.

The moving screen on LeBron was a good call though, it was an obvious moving screen. If you're going to gripe about calls, fine. If you're going to gripe about that call, you're just going to seem like an idiot.

stop complaining, especially after last years ship was literally given to you guys by the refs. Taken kevin durant out of the game everytime with 2 quick weak fouls.

In was +37 FTs through G5 in the ECF. In games 6 and 7 Miami outshot them by ~20FTs. If the same thing happens the next two games there is no way Miami doesn't win.

And to the poster above: Durant is on my keeper fantasy team. I like KD. If there is any player in the league that gets the benefit of the whistle more than KD I'd like to know who. He is easily knocked off kilter and when he does hit people on D (because he is ALWAYS out of position) he bounces off other players and isn't penalized.

The issue is that when there are 100 moving picks throughout the game, a great many on TD that go uncalled, you can't start calling them at that point. I'm not THAT offended by it as they did call Diaw for that pick on Rio when it probably should have gone the other way. But SA has taken plenty of liberties on picks and the one that got called on Miller when he barely grazed Green was equally bad.

You can call 100 more fouls than what actually get called and those called really couldn't complain too much. But that wrecks the flow of the game. So officials are asked to make judgements on the level of grey involved in any given play which is always where the trouble comes.
