What do you mean it should not have come to this, Spurs have always been an elite contender team in the west making deep runs every if not most seasons. Did you honestly think you would sweep the finals 4-0?
Also there is no problem with the format since like someone posted earlier if u guys get first 2 games and last game it only makes sense to give the away team 3 home games

We had a 10pt lead going into the 4th. We shoulda kept it that way.

You have to play 3 road games in a row and if all goes to plan then you face two elimination games at home. How the **** does it make any sense, they're such dumb asses.

That being said Danny Green and his terrible 3 point makes are the reason we're losing, not the schedule. Never the less it's a terrible format and I don't know why they have it.

The concept of the 2-3-2 format was to lessen travel and give teams more rest during the Finals.

So, for example: If the Heat play Portland in the Finals, instead of the Blazers flying to Miami for 2 games then flying back to Porland and Miami flying to Portland then flying from Portland to Miami and vise versa for possible Game 5, 6, 7 scenarios. The league decided the 2-3-2 format lessens that.

How bout we just protect home court like elite teams are supposed to and make this all moot? No excuse for them to lose 2 home games in this series. Lost 1, don't lose anymore.

If we cant win 3 out of 4 at home...then we dont deserve the championship..

Whining about the format is stupid. The format actually helps the team with HCA, cause it's hard to win 3 in a row against a team that is (presumably) slightly better.

The team with HCA should win games 1, 2, 4 and 6, or games 1, 2, 5 and 7.

I don't have the time to check right now, but I would guess most of the time the team with HCA wins in 6.

The title of the thread reads "2-3-2 FORMAT is killing us again" lol.

I'm with those that say the format favors the home team. Ask the Lakers of 2010.

I still think the 2-3-2 favors the home team. Its near impossible to win the 3 straight home games so the team with the worse record needs to win TWO road games. And frankly, if you can't go >.500 at home in a series you don't deserve to win it.
