Bosh said how he would like to retire as a Heat player. He is going to have to take an even bigger paycut if he wants to stay. He looks comfortable here, likes the lime light as well. He would have to be the man again in another team, who might not eve be a contender. At this stage in his career, he probably wants more rings than individual accomplishments.

Just seeing the way the Heat players are together, how brotherly they are, it's hard to see any of them leave because of money (besides age if Wade retires or something down the road).

I agree about Wade, he's getting up there in age, but when he's healthy he definitely is still a top 5 player. But he should take a paycut too. LeBron the only guy who should be getting paid the max.

I also think we are getting high revenues in, so we will afford to keep big 3 and strengthen around them
i bet game 7 alone paid bosh entire year salary

Hmm good to know. If he's wanting to retire as a HEAT sounds like he'd be willing to do what's necessary.

I'm on cloud nine. We have one more guaranteed year with this team, let's get that threepeat.

To be honest i think we were lucky to win the championship this year, the spurs were 1 rebound away from winning the championship and the pacers pushed us to the limits.

People bring up bosh's big plays in game 6, but a few good play does not justify a whole playoff of not showing up. Maybe the heat wouldn't be in that desperate position in the first place if he played well in the playoffs.

The only player who would warrant trading Bosh for is Dwight Howard, no one else really fits this roster the way Bosh does.

Obviously the only reason Dwight would fit despite not being able to space the floor is that he instantly makes this team a top rebounding team and strengthens the interior defense. All those nightmares of seeing Hibbert get put-backs are gone.

That said, it's highly unlikely the ideal thing is too somehow get a serviceable big man while keeping Bosh.

I would prefer the Heat keep Bosh rather than have Howard on the team.

I think this organization would change Dwight, but he wants to be "the man". That is NOT happening, he can't spread the floor well either. But damn his rebounding would be awesome, and he plays through tough injuries. But the only people who run this team gotta be LeBron and Wade. Bosh is more mature and coachable than Dwight... and we are unstoppable when he shoots his midrange. We need Bosh's midrange against people like Indiana and Bulls for the future.

Wade needs to get back with Tim Grover/Attack Athletics and drop TERF Training.

LeBron hasn't had adequate rest in over 3 years. Get this man an offseason!

Guys like Battier, Ray Allen, and UD are getting old and it's time we start grooming their successors.

I doubt Spo will learn from this season that you don't chase a 33 game win streak when you already have the #1 seed in the NBA after winning 16 in a row. Had we lost game 6, I'm positive he would have learned that important lesson. I'm hoping he does learn, though.

Anyway, great season, and I cant wait till next year.

A lot of this. The other is to utilize Bosh better. There's a reason he was given a max contract.

F yall wanting Bosh gone!!! Need to understand in dept about this dude - He sacrificed the most on this team and he got no problems doing so - Heat give him another extension which would be WAY lower then 17 mill, he'd take it...

I see Wade taking a huge pay cut as well - Just use the money to get some size and we are good.

CB isn't going anywhere, nor should he. I loved hearing Arison take up for him on LeBatard earlier today.

I wouldn't mind seeing him be used more to his capabilities though. Ideally, we get a passable option to start at the 5 and play a bit more traditional, using the uber-spacing lineup/strategy when advantageous.

It's interesting how people are saying break up the team when Bosh is 29, Lebron 28, and Wade 31. In an off-season after they won a title. By comparison Boston back in 2011 was KG 35, Pierce 33, and Ray 36 and stuck with it for TWO more seasons after losing the ECF.

It seems to be about money, not their ages, specifically if the cap space would allow these 3 to be together. Also it would be tough to get free agents when our cast grows old themselves while the big 3 continue to get paid more each year, not everyone would take a pay cut. Especially someone young. First year we lost, the cast definitely wasn't very supportive, but last 2 years at times, they have shown up and even single handily won games as well. I can't imagine better vets than Shane, Ray and Miller on this team. The future will be ... strange.

That's my take on it anyway.

edit : hm I'll say this, Bosh shouldn't be paid the same amount as LeBron... but I don't think they can change that. Also I guess Arison is going to have to spend a LOT of money to take changes of more rings for this team. I know he's a billionaire but that's a lot of money to spend.

LOL the big three will not be dissembled. Riley will look for more role players, and if there is a capable fourth go to guy caliber players that Mike Miller was suppose to be. If available Riley will try to add a big 4th. He is trying to add to this team not remold.

I have been shaking my head at so many of the things said but people saying this team needs to be dismantled/reformed are crazy. If Miami can repeat next year they will be the first team in the league to go to four straight Finals and win 3 since RUSSELL. I mean c'mon. Why would anyone in their right mind want to mess with that?
