in this article is says Riley pursued one perimeter player with our tax payer mid level but were out bid. I wonder who that one player was....

Yea I'm gonna go with J.J..(maybe with the whole Arison family Duke relations thing?)Also saw rumors about Sebastien Telfair, but

I doubt they were serious.

Miller > mayo. At least on our team. Mayo is basically nick young, who is basically Kobe. Aka a bricker.

No thanks.

As I've said for a while it makes no sense to amnesty Joel or Miller now that it doesn't give us any cap flexibility. Its better to hold them until they are expirings and then trade them.

Just said this on @TheTicketMiami: from what I am hearing from multiple sources, the Heat are likely to amnesty Mike Miller today.

I don't usually report anything with a hedge, but I've heard it wouldn't happen until later today. All signs pointing that way.

Welp. I'd hate to see it happen. I'd get rid of Joel first (by far), but it ain't my money.

No one saw this coming, the Heat also telling the media and basically our rivals, oh hey we aren't using our amnesty clause! Especially on an impactful player like Miller!

Our rivals are up there in cap space too, only I think Indiana has some money to spend and it would SUCK if he went there...

But Knicks just picked up MWP, I bet they wish they would have picked up MM instead, but good timing on this amnesty.

I guess Arison gave Riley the mandate. I was reading that article where Riley says that he'll only amnesty Mike Miller if he's mandated by Arison.

it'd kind of be funny if he went to OKC too... with Game 5 and all. BUT it's his best option to get playing time, with Kevin Martin gone.

It would suck ass if there was a MIA-OKC finals again and he's there.... god that would suck.
