Dubs fan here... I don't know that we need him, but having looked up some footage of his college career, the guy looks like a perfect Curry substitute when it comes to scoring. He can hit the pull-up three, shoot off the screen, and use the floater or weakside layup in the lane. We could plug him in and run the exact same sets we do for Curry... if I'm the Warriors, I grab the guy right away and trade him later this year if we can't find some minutes for him.

Yea i feel like on the warriors he just basically replicates what your guards already do, so it sort of doesnt make sense

on the Heat though hes not required to do anything but shoot. Its like his perfect fit

Personally, I think his playing like Curry Lite is why we ought to keep him. Any time Curry sits, let Klay or Iggy initiate the offense, then run the same sets for Clark that we ran for Curry when he played off the ball last year with Jack at point. I've no idea if the Warriors will see it the same way, but one way or another, this guy's going to get guaranteed money from someone, whether it's you, us or some other team. Having looked at some of his stats in college, I can't fathom how he didn't get drafted.

Would love to see us make a play for Clark.

Maybe they will, but you guys have Bazemore also , so I dont know. Clark likes Curry so maybe he will choose to sign with you guys

I'm surprised to hear we aren't interested in Clark, at least that's what being reported, which doesn't always mean much.

we were interested after he played for us. No reason that would change after his play in the LV final. But we're not ready fir that sort of signing. Rookies go through TC before they're signed by the Heat.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

If they really want him they'd throw him some sort of partial guarantee though, knowing he's a hot commodity right now.

I'd bet we are interested. We're the only team whose draft picks don't get Woj'd out before they're announced. Hard to assume reports like this are 100% accurate in regards to the Heat.

It's over. The Jazz signed Ian Clark for 2 years.

Good luck to him. Baby Jesus can get minutes in Utah. PEACE.
