Battier is the guy in this debate. although those who have mentioned Rio are not wrong at all.
its crazy because each one of those guys have been vital in some way at some stage that mattered most. it really has been a collective effort from our role players.
HOWEVER...I voted for Ray Allen because of THE SHOT. if you think about it, are we even asking this question or having this discussion if that doesn't happen? that shot counts for more then a single great play....
good thread.

The way I see it.....
Shane has just to get my vote. Back when the Heatles lost to Dallas, the minute I heard he was going to MIA - I kinda envisioned he would have a Posey-esque impact in the playoffs. This dude disappointed in early rounds but came out there when needed the most in both '12 and '13. Game 2 vs. OKC, that bank shot, and really......just the entire series. Who remembers that jumpball where he tip it to Rio. That play just defined heart, hustle, and Heat basketball right there.
This season was no different. I keep posting in GT's hoping Shane breaks out of his slump and while things went bad (especially the ECF), I never had the thought to count this guy out. I just knew a winner like him will bounce back, and what do you know, he delivers that epic Game 7.
Rio on the other hand while boneheaded at times, has the ultimate balls of a true Heater and is never backing down from anything. This dude is the ultimate yolo player. His timely 3's especially this Spurs series ended up sooooo big. Need to cut down more on the foolishness side before him getting up my list. I wish he stays with us for the majority of his career.
Ray Allen, the shot. Wow. Just wow. Watched it over and over again, and I keep wondering whether this is real life.

Battier, the guy us absolutely clutch whenever we need him, crucial moments he's big time. Those 3s in game 7 were major
