And Scola should be a very nice addition.
They have the advantage of being strong where Miami has a weakness.

2. That's why I put health first. I mostly agree with what you said. I just worry a bit about mental fatigue and Indiana getting better.

3. Even if they don't reach the finals, if the team stays mostly intact for the 2015 season I'll feel pretty good.

Indiana got better, Scola is a very underrated addition, but I think the fact that our series went to seven games caused a lot of people to make them better than they are. As you said, they have strengths where we have weaknesses, but that's the only reason they even gave us problems besides Wade's injury. The way I see it, Wade can't play any worse than he did for most of last playoffs, so going forward, I only see us being a better team (unless one of the Big Three suffers a season ending injury).

As for our goals, I expect nothing short of repeating.

Again, I mostly agree with you. It's just that I am, probably, more pessimistic by nature.

I will worry till I see the Heat hold that trophy again.

And I would really REALLY like to see some domination.

I wanna see Skip Bayless foaming at the mouth.
I want to see the GB losing it's collective mind (yeah, right, as if the GB has any brains) and the Bulls mods on the GB throwing fits life 2 year olds and banning people left and right for nothing.
I want to see Knicks, Lakers (meaning Kobe) and especially Bulls fans get that look in their eyes that opposing teams' fans had when facing the '96-'97 Bulls. That blank stare.
I want Gilbert to write another Comic Sans letter.
I want JVG to say "I told you they can win 75".
I even want Philippino Jackson to get the 1st 3peat since the real Phil Jackson (even if he doesn't really deserve it and has been mostly carried by the team's talent).

That's for Miami. And if I started, here's what I want in general:

I want Thibs The Butcher to run his players into the ground again during the season, and Rose to ask for a trade next summer.
I want Melo to sign with the Lakers, to see him play next to Kobe. You know he won't put up with Kobe's **** and pout like Dwight. He'll be all like "Move over, old man, it's my team now. You want the ball ? How about you go get the rebound ?". I wanna see that.
I want Durant to ask for a trade and end up on a team that will actually pay to win, unlike OKC. And maybe pay smart, not like Dolan. So far, he seems like a somewhat nice guy (although fake clean and fake tough), and Bennett's not gonna pay for a winner. I want good owners to be rewarded by having good players flock to their teams. And I want cheap owners punished for their cheapness.

I know the end result of the 2011 season was disappointing, but in retrospect it's no minor feat for that team to have advanced to the Finals when you look at how they were assembled. We started Carlos Arroyo at point (and I'm still pissed we cut him for the corpse of Bibby), center rotation of Ilgauskas-Joel-Dampier-Howard-Magloire, lost Haslem in the 12th game of the season, Miller was never healthy. There were nights it was literally 3 vs. 5

They met mine, haven't exceeded them. As a team they have but the core "3" have impressed me sometimes while other times they've left me scratching my head. Especially Bosh. But 2 titles in three years, and three straight final appearances has been a great feat. I think we take for granted what that truly means. We've dominated the Eastern conference ever since this group was assimilated. I see better things in the future but really hope Wade returns to form and Bosh steps up bigger this upcoming season. We'll need it as a team.

I believe if Miami wins in 2011, they lose in 2012. Who knows if Lebron would have made the dramatic off season change that he did. Then they come back with a vengeance and win 2013. So the amount of titles are the same but now they are on track to a 3 peat. We'll see what happens. I think the way it worked out was for the best and they will end up with 4 straight titles in 5 years. That would be amazing.
