Zero chance this happens.

The Sixers just tried as hard as possible, fought for rebounds, tried in the first quarter, and picked off some terrible passes, and scored in transition against a team that didn't get back in transition at all. Didn't even try.

I didn't get to watch the entire game but for the portion I did watch, the transition D was embarrassing.

It's no excuse, but I have to say, pretty ridiculous to have to open the season with back-to-backs where (1) the first game is late, (2) the second game is early, and (3) you have travel in between. I mean, c'mon.

Was a trap game and boy did we come out flat after yesterday..... :nonono:

Crap defensively and Lebron also didn't bring it.. I've seen this whenever he is tired/fatigued.. Like last year towards the end before he decided to lay it all out. Makes sense since he is not completely in game shape... And he should be taking those 3s.. He was 4-7 from downtown. That's good every day.
Mason looked shook. Needs time to shake off in real games.

Learn from tonight and move onto the next. We start like this every year. Go HEAT!!!!
Also.. Good game Sixers.. Get a good draft pick along with Noel n you guys will a lot to look forward to.

I still don't think he's in basketball shape and having played yesterday looked slow at times. His initial burst after coming back in the 4th was not nearly as fast plus he normally turns over the ball when tired (Game 6)

Haslem-needs to see little time as possible. He looks confused, slow and the team looks frustrated when he's out there.
Rio- has the ball too much. What is his usage? He touches the ball more than the big three. His decision making has gotten better nowhere close to how much he's been handling it. Hope Cole takes more of his minutes.
Bron- forced it in the fourth. Same result every drive. it's like he was allergic to passing to Rio. Wished he started the 4th continued the momentum and then sat.
Bosh- Has to make himself more available. You can't expect to give him the ball to create because he's turnover prone which is infuriating.
Birdman-ugly game. Haslem was the bigger negative but 3 to's and 3 fouls... no boards, smh awful
cole- played well. Should have played over Rio in the 4th

Disappointed with Wade not playing. How does he expect to make a statement. Out the second game? Really? Really?

I was very surprised when I saw that schedule for the first time. I knew there would be a post-ring ceremony hangover, but that 1st quarter was embarrassing. We still should have won after playing one of the greatest offensive quarters in Heat history.

it looked like the Lakers Clippers game from tuesday night. The team with less talent just kept making 3's at the end. So much for 82-0 lol

It's how we got ourselves in a hole in the first place. Philly started off the game very quickly and we had what, 6-7 TO's in the FIRST quarter alone and EVERYTIME, Philly capitalized on it, from what I remember. Our defense was incredible slow to start the game. Philly made their first 11 baskets. It started out 19-0 for god's sake. When we started to play defense with the bench and when Rashard came, we came back into the game. The third quarter, 45 points (Philly still got 34 points though, defense still sucked), and I think 11 3's. After Ray Allen hit 4 3's, it looked like we got lethargic again, turn overs came AGAIN, and that's how the game got out of hand again. Transition D was bad all night. Heat said they tried to conserve from the start of the game and didn't come out to compete, that's what happened. Oh yeah, Mason, UD and Rio were yanked with 7 mins left to go in the 1st, then after the bench did their job. Man our bench has been amazing, and our role players in general. Rio picked it up but we just didn't have enough at the end. I knew they'd get exhausted trying to come back from 20 down.

I know people are upset we loss, but atleast we came back and made a game out of it. Shows what our bench and role players are capable of. UD is still very frustrating though... out of all people. LeBron these past 2 games, despite his stat line last night, doesn't seem like himself, it will take a few weeks he said.
