What I wanted was for them to come out and play better no matter who we're playing. The players felt the same way and LeBron said what he said. I noticed the Pacers are looking good this year and that we need to play serious. The article on the front of the Heat realgm says the Heat noticed the Pacers too, and Bosh said he feels that we're going to pull it together. They felt the same way about their performance that I did, and they addressed it. Now I'm content.
Quote me where I said anything even remotely close to "we are in imperil of not winning a title". Did I start this thread? No. I knew they were going to address it at some point so there was no need to panic or make a thread about it. I just didn't like the assumption that we'll beat all our opponents without HCA like we're invincible. That's naive.
If you're fretting about HCA after 8 games, you're overreacting
Not really. If the players really want homecourt advantage or the best record, then every game counts. If their goal isn't to try to win every game possible then yeah I'm overreacting and need to adjust to their/your way of thinking.
