If you have to sit until March, you might as well end your career.

At this point everything is critical. If you can allow him to be fresh for the playoffs, then do it. On the other hand having to be shutdown is not a good sign for the rest of your career going forward, its tough.

Article Translation:

Wade is old and his knees are shot and he is just chilling during the regular season

So...how is this any different than what was said about Wade in this thread?

You're not even Heat a fan, why are you always trolling this board?

I was born in Miami

How am I not a Heat fan and how did I troll....

It's the truth, his knees are shot, he's old, he is gonna make sure he is ready for the playoffs, Heat are trying to get a top 4 seed and chill out for the regular season and gear up for the playoffs.

I don't know why you and others are trying to make it what it isn't.

“He’s ahead of schedule from where we anticipated probably in July after the OssaTron therapy but we know with these procedures that it will take time and we’ll be patient with it and monitor and have constant communication,” Spoelstra said. “It’s part of the process and when we talked about it coming into training camp we knew there would be a lot of speculation, every move. And that’s where the discipline comes. We do have a plan but the plan is to evaluate every day and that’s probably not the answer everyone wants to hear.”

"He's been feeling better each week," he said. "It hasn't necessarily been consistent day to day, but when you look at it big picture, we're very encouraged."

Maybe I'm just trying to make myself feel better, haha! But it sounds like they are just being smart and they actually do expect him to be consistently healthy in a couple months. I think I had greater expectations for him right out of the gate because of all the talk about him being in great shape (which is true), but he did also say he wouldn't be where he wanted to be recovery wise at the beginning of the season.
