What's happened to our defense over the past two years?
It's just gotten worse and worse since the 2011-2012 season.

1) Less athleticism as players age
2) No size
3) Terrible rebounding
4) A few bad defenders
It's pretty shocking our defense is as good as it is if you saw our roster for the first time.

I've never wanted to punch someone in the face so badly. Really hoping to run into him at a game one day. I won't hesitate.

I think the team is too old. Battier, Ray Allen, and Haslem (maybe injury still bothering him?) look old out there and aren't defending well. Riley really messed up by choosing to not to bring in younger players to develop. Maybe Spo is responsible as well because Roger Mason Jr doesn't get much playing time. Hopefully, Greg Oden can play like he did in the Wizards game and stays healthy. I'm looking forward to signing Andrew Bynum as well, that'd fix a lot of our problems. His per36 with Cleveland this year was 15ppg/9rpg/2bpg. Even if he doesn't play 36mpg, that is good per-minute production that the Heat could use. Even the blocks per game don't tell the story because he will contest a lot of shots on the inside. Plus he has a hook shot that this team so desperately needs for easy points.
The last thing I noticed is that this team doesn't draw a lot of offensive fouls. When you're small and have no interior defense, you must be able to draw offensive fouls. Our two main guys - Battier and Haslem, who still lead the team in this regard - aren't taking charges as often as they should. And you can forget about the rest of the team drawing a charge. Hopefully this attitude changes when the playoffs roll around.
