Riley should have coordinated with Obama and authorized several dark shades rocking, earpiece wearing secret service agents to throw a burlap sack over Joel's head, during yesterday's ceremony, and drag him off stage in front of an unsuspecting, horrified, live national audience.

he was a true professional, but unlike MM I just dont feel he played a role in any of our runs..
and our team looked better come 2012 playoffs when we benched his ass. unlike regular season..

I can see him coming back in the future for a minimum deal.

Rumor has it that Spo asked the team to play with the spirit of Joel today. After the game, Wade walked by scores table where Eric Reid and Tony were and said "stop looking at stat sheet. It's the things that don't show up on stat sheet that we were great at. We're going to practice tomorrow and improve on those things"

There you have it! We lost on score board but won on those stats that aren't seen on stat sheet! That's winning basketball

That's what I call motivation.

At least he won three titles while being with us.

greenwing wrote:No, I'm not mad at all. I'm laughing at the entire situation.

Joel Anthony, Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Juwan Howard are not impact players. None of them solve your biggest need in rebounding. And none of them solve your second biggest need in 3-point shooting. And I just personally find it hilarious when Heat fans go all crazy about players way past their primes signing with them. Next you know it's going to be OMG ALLEN IVERSON!!!!!! DUDE, WE'RE GOING TO OWNNN!!!!!!

Joel Anthony is hot garbage. He has a TRB% of 11% and his Roland Rating was the 4th worst on the Heat last season. Incidentally, Mario Chalmers actually had the 3rd worst Roland Rating on the Heat least season. Both players are terrible. However, at least Chalmers will still be effective in Miami because the Heat don't need a true point guard. But they really need a center who can, at the very least, rebound the ball.

that bulls fan was right lol

Like Riley I thought he would get better playing with Big 3. I was wrong in thinking that. If you can't catch, well you can't catch. We all expected an NBA player and we got D league. He never learned how to catch or rebound. I thought having a shot blocking defensive C next to bosh would help. Well.. We're still. Looking for that and hopefully Oden is that guy
